    Afternoon Tea on a Cunard Ship: one of the best experiences I've had what travel on a ship is concerned.

    I’ve never been on a cruise ship, they seem to be so rambunctious. I think I would love this one!

      The Queen Mary 2 is no cruise ship. She is an Ocean liner, like Titanic, Lusitania, Aquitania, Imperator etc...
      The QM2 is the last Ocean liner of history, that is still in Service. She is much better than any cruise ship.
      A cruise ship makes a round to some nice places, but an Ocean liner makes a passage about the Atlantic Ocean and she doesn't care about bad weather

    When we were on QM2 this year the cream on board was Rodda’s cream which comes from Cornwall , the Cornish put the cream on top …….why ? ….because it is proper cream and NOT a butter !! There is a huge difference which is why Cunard probably purchase Cornish Cream 🧐….so the Captain is correct 👍

    Captain Aseem Hashmi is exemplary and legendary in Cunard Folklore. We first sailed with him on the QE2, then Sagafjord and Vistafjord over 25 yrs ago. The last true remaining Cunard Captain. Long may his reign continue. Always polite and very knowledgable about all matters.

    I'm glad that some people think that these are important things in life. At least they have a care free life while the rest of us can keep on struggling...

    Rename to Cunard Star, I mean, it’s accurate since Modern day Cunard is white star and Cunard.

      They wouldn't since Cunard Line 100% bought White Star Line in 1949, and Cunard was the dominant one in the merger.

    Surely as a paying passenger, paying almost £2000 for a 7 day cruise, I can eat how I like.

  • @petejames1326
    @petejames1326 Před 8 měsíci +2

    why would you be asking the captain about the hospitality industry? seems so weird, its like asking the doorman about the ships diesel engine

    • @eternal5930
      @eternal5930 Před 7 měsíci +2

      Because traditionally a captain would be meeting with important passengers and dining with them, hence the term "Captain's table", and they would frequently indulge with passengers.
