I used to prepare meals for 100 residents in an assisted living facility. I made breakfast, lunch and dinner 6 days a week. It was so much work! I have the utmost respect for anyone who works anywhere in the kitchen.🥰🥰
Every cruise I take, I am always amazed at the service we receive on board a ship. It blows my mind the number of people you are feeding and it is done beautifully! I always tip extra to everyone helping me because they work so hard and are always so nice and helpful. Thanks for doing what you do for the passengers and sharing this video with us!

I worked as a cook during my college years. It was hard work, but I learned so much! I love cruising and appreciate the staff so much! NCL food is always excellent, going on my 10th cruise soon!

its been a long time that i've never work in a cruiseship specially when i've been repatriated from ncl i don't think so i can get back again. I remember the guy un calbo sa main galley na cook i work with him before goodluck sainyo dyan keep it up.

Thank you for watching ezra.. how I was abke to apply here.. ahm, nagaral ako sa CACS for ilang weeks or month ba un, then i took tesda nc2 for cooking then i applied online lang.. nagapply ako sa agency at sa indeed at sa miami i think.. then nKatanggap sko ng call saying for interview daw ako.. lumuwas ako ng manila then i got the interview, while in manila nagapply na rin ako sa ibang agency, luckily i passed all 3 but dto ako mas pinasampa ng maaga at mas maganda offer dto compared sa other 2 cruise lines.. before that nakaready na ang passport ko, seaman's book at trainings ko.. bago ako lumuwas ng manila, kaya parang 2weeks lang nadeploy na agad ako

It is amazing there so many different people working on cruise ships now. I work for royal Caribbean cruise line as a working chef. In 1974 I started company with only 3 ships sun viking. Song of Norway. Nordic princess

Go to the cruise ship company website and apply on it nothing else. There's a lot of scams out there. Follow the application process on that company's website.

Hi! How are u? That was the guest's cabin.. we used it during pandemic so.that we can maintain the cleanliness of the cabin.. that time there was no guest yet, only crew that's why they gabe us the guest cabin for maintenance.

Hi Asin! Goodmorning! Actually u cant get a job without experience but if u apply for utility galley, the one that is assigned in cleaning and washing of the dishes and pots, then that could be ur stepping stone to working in the kitchen or yhe galley.

If you're passionate about cooking then galley aka kitchen. I would suggest you take up guest services as a front desk purser or restaurant manager or assistant food and beverage manager. But you need experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel in India first so that you learn the systems and roles of a functioning hotel service before you apply for a cruise ship.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply.. i would suggest go for f&b service.. work in the kitchen is too hard and small salary than the restaurant department.. especially when u work onboard. My gaaad.. i, myself am wanting to transfer to other department already.. kitchen work is too heavy for me already

Hi @criZ CriZ! How are u doing? Vaccination is mandatory. Before you sign on or while u are onboard, it is mandatory to be vaccinated otherwise they wont let u work onboard anymore.

Hi, just watched your video. I have a job offer already from MSC as an assistamt cook. Same po tayo. Curious lang po ako if kelangan talaga marami kang alam sa pagluluto? Or kahit hasic lang and then the rest dyan na matututunan? 7years kasi ako sa cableship company, parang 2nd cook na work ko don pero title ko is messman pa rin so kaya lumipat ako kasi walang growth don. Ask ko lang din po if magkano offer sa inyo? Sobrang baba po kasi offer sa akin $800 lang. Sa dating barko ko 1,400 po ako e kaya nalilito ako if sasampahan ko ba sa crusie kasi hirap magadjust ang laki ng difference.
