- P&O Ventura cruise to Spain, Portugal & Canary Islands August-2023. A walk around the ship. This was filmed over a few days.
Deck 6 - we ate most of our evening meals in either Cinnamon or Saffron restaurants.
Deck 7 - we walked many laps around the Prom Deck, great for getting your step count up.
Deck 10 - where our cabin was, C606.
Deck 15 - we ate in the Waterside Buffet many times at different times during the day.
Deck 16 - our timing wasn’t great; we arrived just as the kids’ clubs were enrolling.
Deck 17 - we treated ourselves to passes to The Retreat; we were so glad we did! We found sharing a hot tub was a bit odd though!!
The Atrium - we passed through it virtually daily; the shops are located here on each floor.
Wall art - the ship is festooned with different types of wall art. Along our corridor were photographs of North Devon, a place where we’ve holidayed many times.

She is a much bigger ship than I was expecting. Lots to see and do 👍
We love Ventura - one of our favourite ships. Great video - have subscribed 😊
Thank you, I've subscribed to yours too - Sarah
We have just been on Ventura, we really enjoyed it. I loved the aft deck area, plenty of quiet spots, great views.
Sounds great. Hope your cruise was as good as ours! 😎
Great video
Thanks, appreciate it :-)
btw, just noticed your Call the Midwife tour video... Chatham dockyard is not far from us! Hope you enjoyed it. Did you manage to visit Rochester whilst you were in Medway?
@@richsarah4214 yes we went to Rochester really enjoyed it poured with rain though!
Was on ventura last month visiting Spain,Portugal & France. Entertainment was excellent apart from one comedian. Off to Canada next year on the Aurora which we cruised on a few years back.
We'd love to cruise Canada; hope you enjoy it 🙂
We were on the Ventura a couple of weeks ago on the same cruise. Never been on such a crowded ship. The weather was bad with a rough sea going and coming back. Joined Iona in Cadiz and Lisbon. Imagine 8000 people disembarking particularly in Cadiz which is on ly small. Wouldn't do another Canaries cruise.
Sorry to hear that. Ventura was certainly busy for us too - although we were able to hide away in the Retreat during sea days :-)
