We were on board for 12 nights in November and December 2023.
This cruise visited Madeira, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon.
This episode is slightly different as we give our Lowdown on our 12 night Canary Island cruise on P&O Ventura, from boarding to embarkation, food & drinks, port days & sailaways, Pools & facilities to disembarkation.

This is the cruise I'm going on this November and I'm travelling alone. Your video has given me lots of great info. It's good to know that some of the ports are accessible on foot as the excursions are rather expensive and I'm happy to do my own thing. Having mobility problems I need to go at my own pace. 🙃

Nice video. We are going on self same cruise 5/12/24. What did you think off your drinks package ? £250 is a lot to pay for soft drinks and coffee and the alcohol ones are off the scale. A guy who had been a beverage manager on their sister operator Holland America told me they pushed drinks packages hard as it was mega profits.

We only purchased a refresh drinks package. We took alcohol on with us for the room. We had quite a bit of OBC so didn’t spend a lot.
We never got pushed at all to purchase a drinks package

No virtual dining on Ventura
Hi, thank you so much for posting this video! My mum and I are cruising on Ventura very soon and I’ve heard some reviews saying afternoon tea is served in the main restaurant, but other’s saying P&O don’t offer afternoon tea anymore (aside from in the Epicuran). Were you able to try the afternoon tea in the main restaurants? X
We only found afternoon tea in the buffet. I’ve just spoke to someone who has recently got off Ventura and they said they thought they saw afternoon tea in the MDR in the Horizon. Sorry I cannot be more helpful
