- We went on a cruise! We had a lovely time on board Ventura, exploring the ship and visiting 3 ports of call along the way! This video is part one, taking you through embarkation day, a rough day at sea, and Vigo in Spain!

Re-watching again Charlotte and at Vigo we did the same thing going up to that park and monument, totally underestimated the elevation of that place we did consult the map as well, also we found out muster station e was the Havana bar our cabin was also on deck 11 Barbados but not a balcony cabin
Ship to big and endless quizzes ,after to go in show hours before to get seat ,luggage all over big hall when leaving find if you can,long queues for taxis when you go ,good bits nice inside cabin excellent food
That’s a shame Thomas! Personally I prefer the bigger ships and I am an avid quizzer! And the luggage in the terminal is normal on a cruise, and arranged by deck 😊 but I understand it can be difficult finding it at the end! Thank you for your comment 😊🚢

I just watched this and pt.2 nervously wondered if I'd see a shot of myself as I was also on this cruise and like you did many of the quizzes. I have to hand it to you on battle of the sexes as I stumbled the Hercules answer to you on Arnie's first film role which would've reversed it (clearly a point of contention as I remember it three months later) though I made up for it on the third go on the Guernsey day we missed. I hope you enjoyed it, I did so much I am doing it all again in three weeks.

Hello Charlotte Louise so just found your CZcams channel from this P&O Ventura video as yesterday both me and my wife booked our very 1st cruise doing similar to your cruise instead of Guernsey we will be going to Cherbourg in France only thing is we are not going until April next year anyway a big thumbs up from me to you as well as my subscription to your CZcams channel as well David owner and founder of Dave's Adventures

That’s great to hear! You’ll have a lovely time! Thank you so much, I use a few different foundations haha, my main one is the Charlotte tilbury flawless filter, and sometimes I use L’Oreal true match tinted serum 😊 thank you for your comment ❤️🚢
hi thanks for the review, going on the 10th July on Brittania, apparently they've shut all the speciality restaurants, is that the same for Ventura?
Britannia is my favourite ship! During our cruise, the glass house and epicurean were both closed sadly. I believe it’s due to staff shortage. But the staff on board were all amazing as usual, just less of them. I hope you have a great time! Britannia is beautiful ❤️🚢
@@charlockleyvlogs yeah heard that would be an issue with the cruise (lack of staff) but hopefully will still be a great 2 weeks, never been on Ventura and don't really care to 😂. Thanks for the review

How intense were the vaccine checks? I don’t want to get the vaccine, but been invited on a P&O Cruise. I would obviously show a negative test. Do you think I’ll be rejected?
At present you must be fully vaccinated to go on a P&O cruise. They check your vaccine pass against your passport, so if you don’t have that info, you will not be able to embark.
You don't need to be vaccinated now. 😊
Do you still currently now need to have the vaccinations if your going on a p and o cruise?
Not anymore! They eased those restrictions back in March this year!

@@charlockleyvlogs I though it was. We didn’t leave until Sunday morning. So 8 hours late due to the weather. So had to miss a port then chnage port to iona first time in flam.
@@terencesharpe8775 that’s shame about the port change! We ended up going through a very very rough Bay of Biscay, when I don’t think we should have as other ships didn’t when they were due to! Sadly can’t control the weather but I wish we could haha! Thank you for your comment 😊🚢
@@charlockleyvlogs Tbf you say about the port change I so was so happy about flam, as bucket list place to visit of mine being the biggest and first time for Iona. I was so happy ☺️. I bet I only been 4 times on 2 cruises and tbf wasn’t too bad
