Hi Rob we also went on the Ventura for our first ever cruise as well, we also absolutely loved Porto in northern Portugal, Cherbourg for us was a bit weak, we didn't get a balcony cabin had a internal cabin instead, we have booked our 2nd cruise on the Brittania for the Norwegian Fjords in 2025, oh yeah loved this cruising video
Yes Porto was the best place I thought. I agree Cherbourg could of been better along with Vigo Spain. I’ve heard great things about the Brittania cruises 🚢 may have to book one myself! Thanks man I’m glad you enjoyed it 👍
We were last on a cruise with p&o in 2008 on the Aurora. Just a couple of questions if you don't mind? 1, Are the films in the cinema recent releases & also is popcorn & snacks available while watching the film & is there a charge for these? Many thanks 😊
This was really useful to watch, thinking of booking for next year! How did you get to the amazing looking square in Lisbon? 04:17 - Thanks for sharing your experience.
Sorry I can’t remember but I know it was early morning you get a full day at most the stops. You wanna get tuk took after a shuttle bus takes you to wherever they drop you. The busses are cramped and queues are horrible so get a Tuk took to get around mate
Thanks for the vid pal, I've booked this exact cruise for May next year. Few questions if you don't mind. • is the drinks package worth it? • can you just leave the ship or do you need to pay for an excursion? • im taking my 2 kids under 9yrs is there enough for them to do on the ship? Many thanks pal.
Hey man so the drinks package I don’t think is worth it unless you wanna drink £40 worth of drink a day! We actually bought alcohol on the days you are of the boat and brought it on they never checked our bags etc so you can pre drink etc in your room. You can leave the ship for a set time on the days you dock at the ports but no excursions are included. They sell excursions packages on board. If your kids love swimming that will keep them busy and food is always available. There’s table tennis and football/ basketball courts on board so plenty of things for kids to blow some steam on buddy 😎
@@robpark93 superstar pal, thanks. Would you book another? If so what would you book? As I have a feeling the minute we return home she'll want to do another. I was looking at Anthem of the seas it looks amazing but bloody expensive. Thanks again for the reply.
@@liammorris8756 you’re welcome buddy! Yes I would book again I would love to do the Norway trip think that would be unreal! Or the new ship coming next year worlds biggest cruise but yes those kinda cruises are like £1500 😅
