Funny you should mention the back scratcher. My husband put one in my Christmas stocking a couple years ago and my first reaction was to kind of roll my eyes, but it turned out to be the best little gadget I didn't know I needed till I had it! Still using it to this day and so glad it's there!

Doorstops are a MUST when moving! Moving in to my apartment and now moving out in the summer, a doorstop at the main door while hauling boxes and furniture out makes such a difference! No need to have anyone holding the door every time you go out! 🤗

I'd add another underrated item - photo booth props. I couldn't find anything under $7 on Amazon, but Dollar Tree had several options for $1.25 with multiple pieces. It made my niece's bday party a hit!
You can tell I live in a small town because we still have the bank tubes going strong and I didn't even realize they were mostly phased out. 😂 Good news is we have a pretty good Dollar Tree! 💚

I’m not sure if you know this, but the Large Marinade Bags that I have seen near the aluminum foil and ziplock style bags are just like the storage bags but smaller. They have the expandable bottom and handle. New find for me that I’m loving.

100% that we need to pause to be in the gratitude/celebration mode of large and small victories, Also, re those doorstops, I friend who travels alone extensively always packs one for the hotel door. The theory is that it can be pushed out of the way, but because resistence is felt, if someone is looking for an easy target , they might move along It's just a small thing to add a bit more security. But it's also easy to remove in case of fire etc.

FYI, that design of rubber plunger is actually designed for clogged sinks. It works really well on that, but for a toilet you need a heavier duty plunger with a tapered design which is designed to fit into the outflow of the toilet bowl. Interesting items, as always--love the DT cutting boards! And congrats on your subscriber numbers--yay you!!
It'd be nice if the plunger had a plastic handle. The wooden one just seems not as clean.
My plumber husband said don’t plunge a sink. You can blow the connections under the sink.

I use the large storage bags to hold my sewing projects. I can use it to hold the fabric, thread, and all the small items for the project.
I love those cutting boards...truthfully, I don't use the for cutting boards...I use them in crafting when I want or need something that is semi-transparent. They work really well for that.
I cut mine down and use in the bottom of some of my reusable shopping bags.

I use them under my double waffle iron to easily move it on the counter, in the refrigerator to line the shelves…..and to protect watercolor paintings in progress, that are dry….so that I’m able to paint on both sides of my painting boards … sooo many uses.

I use the large blue and white clips to clamp my quilt sandwich to the side of the table to keep it from sliding off the table. They work very well for that. My quilt stays in place when I'm pinning the three layers together.
Back is a must for my hubby, he has one in the living room & one in the bedroom & that saves my nails😆

Because my storage real estate is small, I store my microwave plate cover inside my microwave. I store it upside down to make it easier to take it out before putting my dish inside.

The pill tube case is great for many uses. I put one of the pill cases in my purse with pain medication on one side and allergy pills on the other side. You never know when you're out and about and you may need a pill. The other use for one of the pill containers is small earrings. It can go in your purse or it can be used for travel to separate and protect your small earrings.
That IS a neat design regarding the pill case. At first sight, I thought each day was just a single compartment and that each day of the week screwed onto the one below it. Nice to have that "tube" that they all go in and that each day's case is divided into two compartments.

The cat looked like he was trying to figure out how to remove the door stop! Maybe he misses being able to get outside. Yes, I know cats should be kept inside. I was surprised when mine ended up going out the door as I was coming in. I didn't realize it until I went to let her in from the balcony (where I thought she was all that time) and she wasn't out there! Not like her to go out at all. She returned exactly a week later. I was scared I wouldn't see her again. So relieved she came back.

Gotta say as a student teacher I love the dollar store. For instance I use the clip magnets all the time on my whiteboard and they feel super heavy duty too.

I use the jumbo clothes pins to clip flip charts to rolling easle carts. It is so convenient for teachers as well.
I'm not sure how many people know this but coloring actually helps with memory and helps you to not get Alzheimer's or dementia it prolongs that process so you don't get it. Because coloring actually helps your memory and you have to stay in the lines and you have to be patient with your self

I use a lot of these products from DT and some are new to me. I use the large and extra large Ziploc bags for sooooo many different things. I use them to store items in categories in large totes, I use them to organize items in my son’s suitcase for camp (I label each bag to help him keep the items organized), you can store wreaths in them and hang them on a clothes hangers in your closet. The uses are endless.

Easiest way to clean microwave. Place a heat safe bowl with vinegar on base.. micro for a minute or two. Just wipe off all debris

I buy all my scrub brusheses and spray bottles for cleaning. They have the same items as my local grocery, just lower price. Also, they have my Ajax grapefruit dish soap, u use this for lots of cleaning chores. Love the smell, cleans my floor beautifully.

Microwave cleaning tip
Boil a glass measuring cup full of water and a whole lemon, cut in half and squeezed into the water for 5 minutes...then simply wipe out the inside...it will clean easily with no scrubbing, and it smells good too!
I do this every time, and it's never failed me.
I have doorstops to my laundry room. It’s to keep my cats out too! They like getting in there and jumping on top of my washer & dryer and I’m afraid they’ll fall behind and get hurt or stuck.

I use those clear photo frames for parties and events at school for many different things like a Photo Booth sign, showing what and where things are, and for decorations. We are throwing my Mom a surprise birthday party soon and I ordered a birthday newspaper with her photo and things that were popular in the year she was born and I plan on using them to display the newspaper on the tables at her party.
An insanely easy way to clean your microwave…dampen a kitchen sponge and place in microwave for one minute. The moisture created loosens all the grim for easy wipe down and the heat disinfects the sponge at the same time.
I do that by taking 1/2 a lemon and microwaving it. It puts moisture in the microwave and a great scent throughout the kitchen.
i love my back scratcher from dollar tree!!!! i have terrible eczema and it's often on my back so it truly is a life saver.
The shower cap bowl covers are also great for covering a cut watermelon.
There is one item I always purchase at the $ tree - it's in the closet storage section. They are square storage containers that I use in place of a filing cabinet. They come in 2 sizes and in grey or blackish as a rule. The frames, candles, and office supplies.
I love to color and coloring books is soothing, a stress relief and also relaxing. Thanks to my brother I have plenty of coloring books and crayons period when my nieces and nephews and my grandkids come over everybody gets a coloring book and crayons and we all sit and color
I buy those back scratchers for my mom all the time. She’s constantly losing them! One day I’ll find a hoard of those back scratchers in a corner somewhere.

The dual compartment pill organizers, are great to store jewelry (neclaces & bracelets wont get tangled up), make up sponges, and other small items, when I travel. I live alone, and I use the $ Gen doorstops on my front, and back door, as well as my bedroom door, as a safety device. Stick a couple of those under the door, and no ones getting in!
I’ve been using those folding toothbrushes for years for every time we travel, and I do really love them. I also love the mesh, laundry bags, and I use them to organize toys in art supplies as well.

One tip… the makeup changing “sponge” for brushes is a no. I got one, used it and it damaged my brushes. The bristles all got broken on the perimeter of the brush. Yes, I was gentle… I have very nice brushes that now look sad. Just use caution!!

An alternative plate cover that I think is better is from IKEA. It’s a harder plastic and I recently got some on sale for $1.

Sarah Jane…Our toilette plungers are $2.50…you have to pay for the handle and plungers separately…that goes for most of the items at DT that have handles.
I love the tube pill organizer. I use it for my husband's pills when we go away for the w/e. We can just take the 2 small holders & not his normal full week pack.
I have had that DT microwave cover on top of our microwave forever, so incredibly handy and saves on messy cleanups and splatters.

I never see anyone talking about Limeaway Toilet Bowl cleaner. It is a 16 oz.. bottle and does absolutely terrific especially if you have a well or hard water. I also buy Comet liquid cleaner with bleach for the kitchen and bathroom. Both great buys! Congrats on 700 subscribers! God bless you!
Back when I used paper coupons, there were often ones for .75 off of line away toilet bowl cleaner. I used to buy them all of the time from DT. Now no coupons, but it’s still a good buy
