I am a long time lurker first time commenter. I tried my first Meerschaum pipe today, I was surprised at how cool and dry the smoke was. The only thing I have smoked that was close is a MM Corn Cobb pipe. I always enjoy your videos keep em coming. Thanks for sharing Bremen happy piping!

Greetings Mark, Good to see you again. Bremen is a very cool city. I had the pleasure of visiting for several days back in 1980. I assume that much has changed in the city since then. I particularly enjoyed the coast and the harbour was very interesting. Lots of activity loading and unloading goods. The people I stayed with, had a wonderful garden patch in a community set aside for that. I thought that was a brilliant use of land for serious gardeners. Thanks for the tour, very enjoyable. Really liked this video format Mark, quite interesting to see a bit of the Bremen roads. Regarding Opening Night, I've heard it's a hidden gem amongst the C&D line, but I've been recently staying away from anything from C&D, their leaf quality fell down too much for my tastes. But they still have some solid blends, like Opening Night and most GL Pease blends (especially the Old London series). Anyway, really like your content mate, keep it coming and I hope you're doing well!

You know because of personal data protection, it is against the law to photograph the driver! That's why all speeding cameras should always take a photo of the rear side of the car. A larger German city without nerve-wrecking traffic jam? What a sight to behold! Only possible when it's night, icy cold, and during a pandemic. German municipal politics' typical answer to the normally dense traffic is, as you hinted at, to strive to restrict/oppress car driving -- while simultaneously not being able to offer commuters a properly expanded public transport. I guess people in the future are supposed to just walk or ride a bike to work, even if it will take them 2 hours and make them arrive either bathed in sweat or soaking wet from rain, depending on the weather.

Not to be political but if we don’t get back to living normal lives soon, there might not be much normality left in our lives as we knew it. enjoyed the tour. i guess pickup trucks are not popular there like in the states. yesterday i enjoyed a bowl of derringer, a c&d virginia while sitting by a backyard fire here in ocala florida. it was a cool 65 degrees out. so many good virginia's out there. take care!

The thing is that now I want to taste every tobacco there is on the market!!! But unfortunately I cannot buy the Americans. In your video (which is very relaxing) I saw that you smoke an American and you live in Bremen! Where do you buy them? I usually buy my tobacco from Germany but never found g l pease or cornel to buy. can you mention an internet shop in Germany that has a variety of American tobaccos so I can buy them ? Hola Mark, it was like a little exciting expedition into the night. A slightly different tour through Bremen - maybe almost a ghost town. Here on the island the Guradia Civil would have arrested me on the spot - smoking in the car with a camera - unfortunately totally forbidden. The tobacco sounds very good, but as you say, the Golden Slice is currently for me too the non plus ultra. It was great fun smoking a pipe with you while the ride. Gladly again please. Hola Paul, i live in Spain. Since last year we have new, stricter laws for road traffic for which the "Traffico" Guradia civel is responsible. Since last year it is not allowed to eat, drink or smoke while driving. For data protection reasons it is not allowed to bring cameras along as a private person and to rotate them while driving. This is the real world today. Keep care and best wishes from the island.
@@paulthescandinavian4992 Sadly,it seems that old DDR or CCCP are sprouting again in our soil.I know about interdiction of phone talking while driving,everybody ignore it.Sincerely I didn´t hear anything about smoking or cameras.Not usually ,I smoke a cigar with open windows passing before traffic police without problems.There are a wild thousands of laws that can be used against you,certainly,but in dayly life no problems if you you aren´t looking for problems.In fact,in our region,I can walk in the streets without the infamous mask thanks to smoking mi pipe.It´s a question of be careful but not at all of be afraid of every delirious decree.Of course traffic Guardia Civil are very special,though their corps fellows don´t love them very much,hahaha.That the price to pay,to have real honest people like them we must suffer very strict ones.Greetings to the snowy north.

During the work week I will smoke approximately five bowls a day. I find that during the weekends I may smoke as many as eight or more. :) I ordered five tins of Stockton from Ronny as it is not available in the U.S., during that order I inquired about a tamper. I noticed on one video you shot in his store there were some tamper similar to yours in a glass case so I thought perhaps he had some for sale. Your tampers are very uniquely distinctive in their appearance. Happy smoking!

You know because of personal data protection, it is against the law to photograph the driver! That's why all speeding cameras should always take a photo of the rear side of the car.

A larger German city without nerve-wrecking traffic jam? What a sight to behold! Only possible when it's night, icy cold, and during a pandemic. German municipal politics' typical answer to the normally dense traffic is, as you hinted at, to strive to restrict/oppress car driving -- while simultaneously not being able to offer commuters a properly expanded public transport. I guess people in the future are supposed to just walk or ride a bike to work, even if it will take them 2 hours and make them arrive either bathed in sweat or soaking wet from rain, depending on the weather.
...well...not much to add to this, my friend...lol!

enjoyed the tour. i guess pickup trucks are not popular there like in the states. yesterday i enjoyed a bowl of derringer, a c&d virginia while sitting by a backyard fire here in ocala florida. it was a cool 65 degrees out. so many good virginia's out there. take care!

I usually buy my tobacco from Germany but never found g l pease or cornel to buy. can you mention an internet shop in Germany that has a variety of American tobaccos so I can buy them ? it was like a little exciting expedition into the night. A slightly different tour through Bremen - maybe almost a ghost town. Here on the island the Guradia Civil would have arrested me on the spot - smoking in the car with a camera - unfortunately totally forbidden.
The tobacco sounds very good, but as you say, the Golden Slice is currently for me too the non plus ultra.
It was great fun smoking a pipe with you while the ride.

i live in Spain. Since last year we have new, stricter laws for road traffic for which the "Traffico" Guradia civel is responsible. Since last year it is not allowed to eat, drink or smoke while driving. For data protection reasons it is not allowed to bring cameras along as a private person and to rotate them while driving.
This is the real world today.

During the work week I will smoke approximately five bowls a day. I find that during the weekends I may smoke as many as eight or more. :)
I ordered five tins of Stockton from Ronny as it is not available in the U.S., during that order I inquired about a tamper. I noticed on one video you shot in his store there were some tamper similar to yours in a glass case so I thought perhaps he had some for sale. Your tampers are very uniquely distinctive in their appearance. Happy smoking!
