I have eaten tinned fish about twice a week for over forty years. I am 71 still compete in powerlifting competitions ( six times masters world bench champion) and genuinely give some of that credit to sardines.
I'm 38 I've been eating sardines and oysters out of the can since i was about 6-7 years old my dad always kept a stash of them with him it was one of his favorite afternoon snacks at work i eat a couple cans of each every week to this day

😂 atleast it's only small fish. Big predator fish that live long are the worst.
the sea bass is really the only one that is of note....comparable to tuna. Sardines especially are very low as are clams and mussels.

I got really sick from eating Greenland Shark sashimi at a restaurant in Des Moines. Though there may be other factors at play.

I told myself I was sticking to grocery store canned fish for a while to save some $. This video threw that right out the window.
Life is too short for that's. Buy bulk, I get Matiz 12 pack for 40 bucks or so, Nuri are 50 for 10, still cheaper than the store. This is if you have prime or course, I don't know the shipping. Dine on fish friend

@@LowTempDabr yeah i think cause canned fish are pretty dense with fats sodium and protein, which take longer to digest and can fill you up more

Because of Matthew, I eat some kind of low food chain fish daily now. I would love to hear your thoughts on mercury in fish and consumption limits. Hearing it from Matthew would put my mind at ease more than any doctor

I have a can of those Belveder sprats in my cupboard, and they have sat there for almost 4 months for the reason you mentioned. It's a big can there is a lot of fish in there.
