- IAS is one of the most corrupt organizations in India, which people are so unwilling to concede... Corruption is known to all. What happened in the coal scam, everybody knew about it...: Arun Bhatia, Former IAS officer.

Arun Bhatia Sir is highly regarded in Pune. He stood for elections few years ago and I was fortunate to vote for him.
You are very correct Sir but nothing will happen,,,after a few days things will be as usual 😊
Ye Arun Bhatia khud corrupt hai. Khud paisa loot kar apna life set jar liya aur retire ho jaane ke baad gyaan pel rha hai. Waah re Bhatia. 😂
UPSC is corrupt body. Apfc exam also has corruption.

Arun Bhatia was by far one of the best bureaucrats in the Maharashtra cadre of IAS. He is speaking the absolute truth.
I just hate this country's system 😡🤬😡....Whole system is corrupt...pehle to lagta tha sirf neta log corrupt hai bt ab to vishwas ho gaya pura Bureaucracy hin corrupt hai iss desh ka😢😢
Aap kaha the baba . Ias to nehru ke time se corrupt hai
Always has been like this since the British Raj time
IAS has been more corrupt than politicians always. That's why people devot his 7,8 years preparing for this examination.
UPSC exam is in such a way that nerds get selected. Just remember how was your class topper. Is he person you will have empathy for poor? No he will always have the feeling of entitlement because he is smarter than everyone.
Good morning 😂

They themselves put them to 3party audit. Unless this is waste one. In future our nation should get only efficient administration officer. Jaihind
UPSC has lost its sanctity and credibility in recent times like NTA who holds the competitive exams like NEET and so on.
Maturity is when you realise that it's DoPT who has done all this drama and whole blame has come upto UPSC. Anpadh log ko kya pata kya system hai. 😂
UPSC thode hi appoint karta hoga..jo abhi mujhe samaj aaya ki Upsc conduct and scan best candidate fir gov karegi appointment
It never had it, the moment you have biharis and uP folk becoming IAS officer you should have guessed it. The the south Indians are the smarted people in India and they never get through, can you imagine why?

Arun Bhatiaji, I'm so glad you spoke out!! I 100% agree with you.
IAS may be first , but judiciary is not behind....hamam main sab nangey hai..
"Kuch nahi ho sakta iss desh ka " is constant😂
Haha.
Nahi ho sakta. Agley 100 saal m bhi nahi hoga
Thanks Arun Sir for speaking the truth. All the civil servants give a perception that Civil Services and UPSC is the most pious service, however the common people know very well that the bureaucrats are drunk in power and amass wealth disproportionate to their salary.
Arun Bhatia is absolutely right, I have spent my entire childhood amongst them and have a first hand experience of it.
These interviews should be made like live telecasts ...
Great suggestion
its funny if you think live media is fair, biased and not corrupt themselves.
Very true
He is so fluent and bold in his words. Nowadays IAS officers are not that daring ones

Well said arun bhatiaji. Thank God there is atleast one person who not only is on the right side but also is not afraid to speak out
As corrupt as Judiciary
Indian Judiciary is No 1 in corruption in the world
Judiciary is most corrupt but unfortunately no media debate on it.
No one will talk about judiciary as long as the shield of contempt of court shield exists for them.
Every exam in India becomes corrupt.
Lost faith in this system.
Welcome to New India.
nothing new, its been going on since forever. its just one case has come to limelight through which people are getting to know. bureaucracy has been the most corrupt institution in this country

Reform UPSC or shut it down.
Absolutely
We should stop IAS civil service etc. why not follow like America, Goverment spend a lot of money for Engineers, Dr. students but many Engineers and Dr. prefer to be an IAS etc.

No wonder they live a luxurious life..... And we the public struggle to get even one water connection.
Just like politicians, IAS tenure should be reduced to 5 years only, no pension, only PF. Clear exams again if you wish to get into IAS again.
I remember Mr. Subramaniam (ex Cabinet Secretary) saying the same thing in a debate on NDTV a few years back.
2/2.. treat non IAS ‘s as subjects to be threatened with consequences if the latter speak against their misdeeds. Kudos to times now n bhatiaji for bringing this issue up in public
Yes ... over the period of time IAS system has become the most corrupt system in India
Government should do something about this system
Government itself is corrupt .
He is telling the truth the inside story of the phone calls ... In every sector board members/ examiners get calls from ministers & bureaucrats... Or some powerful peoples
Thats true... Be it IAS and Judiciary... all are same...
All the IAS Officers consider themselves not less than PM.
Maam thank you for putting a very good question, and the reply was wonderful as well
So nice to hear Arun Bhatia, Retd IAS. He spelled out the realities of the IAS. These people just want a good time in life.
Because of this IAS stigma, most of the Indians does not follow their passion for profession....
Some Scams are prevalent in our society...
1. Reservation of SC Elite class like Tina Dabi.
2. Reservation of ST Elite class like Meena.
3. OBC Creamy Layer
4. EWS Reservation Category
5. PWD and freedom fighter quota
Not at all required in Indian democracy 🙏🏻
From last several years, they are the biggest competitor of some politicians in Corruption.
Arun Bhatia sir is absolutely right!
We should be adding folks who're service oriented in their outlook to our bureaucracy. When an exam which merely tests your memory and desperation is the criteria we use to screen candidates, we shouldn't be surprised when the majority of selected ones start abusing their power. Exams that only measure intellect are perfectly fine selection criteria for posts in private companies and academia, but not in the realm of public service.
IAS and other bureaucratic posts should be given to deserving candidates who have a prior track record of ethical service in the NGO or private space. Even if they join the government service in their mid or late careers, it should be fine - in fact, it should be preferable in my opinion.
I have been saying this for a long time.
I do not understand why Indians over respect IAS officers (and IIT people) for a long time.
It may have to do with the financial security that the jobs provide and the third world attitude of the Indian people.
Same with the perceptions of doctors, but it is global.
Simply because there are 25 iits .. all iits have atleast 1000 candidates per year .. so in a nutshell 20-25k iit seats .. and ias is only 100 seats
@@rkr20055044Let's say it was my responsibility to feed 100 people but I only feed 4 people and tell the rest of them to scavenge for leftover and rotten food in dustbins. who is at fault? Instead of saying only these many seats why not increase the number of seats drastically.
So fucking what? IAS officers are again just puppets under uneducated leaders so there's no point anyway. It's a corrupt country @@rkr20055044
Salaam to Bhatia Saheb for daring to highlight the fact of IAS officers reality, the selection procedure of this service is totally wrong so selected candidates for IAS is incapable to handle to challenges of this service at all .

That's the thing. We all want to just blame the politicians and think they are corrupt. To be honest people are corrupt. You and me and enabling this corruption. Instead of discussing the institutional problems we are still debating the religion all the time. My interests vs your interests instead of our interests.
It is very easy to remove corruption from a junior cadet, but the chance is very, very remote to a decision-making cadet.
The title of this video is the most underrated and unknown truth about India
Great respect for Arun Bhatia Sir for speaking truth. Hope government opens their eyes
Selection criteria for most jobs in India is dumb. Even in software jobs they have witten for apptitude and reasoning.
They put more priority to educational marks rather than your technical skills and these guys then cry we in India don't have skilled people 😑
Can't believe that I've wasted 8 yrs preparing for this recruitment. I always thought that since IAS recruitment is one of the world's toughest, there wouldn't be any chance for forgery. Definitely UPSC has a part in the selection of candidates like her. It will not stop no matter what sort of transparency is brought it. Now, where will I go and bring back those 8 years?
Why were u so obsessed with it? don't ruin ur life for petty things. Do something else.

During the British period it was not like that because they were not only educated but also civilized.
It is exsctly same in civil services in UK... What -Yes Minister", "Yes Prime Minister" old British TV series
Why IAS are given so much more than Defense Officers who gives their life for this country
Rather than alleging that corruption is institutionalised in IAS, public should try to stop corruption at entry like Pooja Khedekar. There might be such cases already in service. They should be removed. Such fraudulent entries in future should be prevented. Then the system will improve to a greater extent.
Please bring focus on APFC result... UPSC has played with aspirants
good to see good journalism for a change
Correct.Youngs having good moral character social service mindset should be selected for this prestigious job.
Please don't say one of the most corrupt. It's just one among many that's corrupt.
Not all bureaucrats are corrupt but majority of them are and now in era of social media everyone is now a influencer also.Only one thing everyone knows why most of people join bureaucracy you can visit any mock interview video where candidate left his/her high paying job in the top mnc's in the world ,leading a top notch life but suddenly they realize oh! I have to work for my country and poor people and they join a job having 1/3 of their previous salary. My simple concern is that we are independent for more than 70 years now, every year bureaucrats are selected for helping the poor😂😂 still we have many villages where even basic amenities aren't there ( visit samdish unfiltered you can see reporting regarding people living life in worst conditions possible) Many of them don't have basic civic sense to how to talk to public (the one who is paying for everything they are enjoying) they have time for social media but don't have time for public.
Modi and Yogi Govt has been blamed due to misdeeds of some IAS officers
India should start giving govt. jobs on the basis of experience, not on the basis of "history of India, Quantitative and Reasoning, GK, etc.".
This will ensure few things:
1. Instead of sitting at homes unemployed, young graduates first look into the type of job that they are interested in and then take that job and get industry experience.
2. On the basis of that industry experience, they should get govt. job.
Currently, young graduates prepare for an exam with the mentality of "sarkari naukri", "aaram ki zindagi", etc. This defeats the whole purpose of recruitment.
They should first look into the kind of job that they are going to do and if they like it, then only they should apply.
Tera nhi huwa to Gyan na de 😂😂. Bina history, culture jane tu us area ke logo ko deal krega. Kha kha se aa jate
@@sk-lf1pg bro, first of all I am not even eligible to apply for UPSC becz of minimum age restriction. On top of that, I am not even interested in UPSC. I am interested in maths and computer science, not in history and GK.
Second thing, there is no such thing that you have to know every event in history that took place in India to serve the people of India. Do I become a better administrator if I know what happened in 1920 in India? Do I become a better administrator if I know everything about Dandi march and its significance?
As far as the geography, political functioning of India, etc. is concerned, people learn from experience instead of mugging up the books.
Infact, this is what happens to these IAS officers. An IAS who is posted in education department get to know in detail about that particular department. An IAS officer who is posted in finance department, fisheries department, national disaster managment authority get to know about these dept. in more detail.

It's high time government acknowledged the officers/ officials who are serving the country in group b/ group c cadre. Given the high salary, social recognition even any group b/ c post in central government nowadays attracts some of the best brains of the country. Government should promote group b/ c officers further up based on their track record, dexterity as lot of such employees have unwavering commitment to their profession, mammoth practical knowledge and keenness to prove their mettle even in the high tables.
Yes . They always have separate rules for them and separate for staff ..all aish karte hain ..pass buck...no decision owning
