  • A video of Central and East Kirkintilloch filmed during the spring of 2020 8
while the country stood still during lockdown.
The video is a compilation of unused footage and re-edited footage uploaded in 4K quality for clear and colourful viewing.
In this video I have labelled various places to give the viewer a better experience if they are looking for a particular location in the town.
***Footage was taken in 2020. Some of the landmarks labelled have changed e.g. Housing developments. Waterside pitch etc. I plan to visit the sites and create more up to date footage in early 2023 weather permitting. **
Comments are very welcome and feel free to share, like or subscribe to my channel for lots of regular content.
    Thank you for watching.

There's a good facebook group called Kirky Legends. You might find someone who knows her on that. Keep me posted! Hope you track her down

Yeah my sons have too. I'm not a native to the town but spent near 30 years of my life there till early this year. Great town with great people. I'll miss the place but its out of my hands. Thanks for your comment and I hope you've enjoyed the video

Thanks for sharing your memories of the Port. It's so lovely to read peoples comments and memories and makes what I do worthwhile. I was born in 68 and left the port in 95 but came back last year due to some personal circumstances beyond my control. Australia and NZ are both on my bucket list to visit one day

Point well and truly taken and in future videos I will do my utmost to make the titles easier to read. Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it as its the best way to learn how to improve my editing.
