MUSIC BY NESRALITY. - Zábava
Love it! One of my favourite places.
Excellent footage of Waterside, Kirkintilloch. I agree houses are needed but sad to see the loss of our greenbelt and wildlife. Thank you for posting this.
Thanks for your comment.
My grandmother was born in Hillhead Kirkintilloch, very near to the canal, my Great grandparents were married in "Lifeboat Hall", I've yet to find where that was in Kirky. My great grandfather worked at one of the Foundry's and many of my ancestors came from Kirkintilloch, Waterside and Kilsyth and originally were Hand loom weavers. Thanks for the video. Greetings from New Zealand.
I am from there until I was 12yrs. Kirky has sure changed from 1962
Had a wee look and the lifeboat hall appears to be what is now called the park centre on Kerr street.
thanks for that, I'll have a look on google maps@@RF-dg9xn
When I survey the wondrous Cross is the tune
Thanks for the information Paul. I get the vast majority of music from copyright free site Pixabay, so sometimes the titles of the musical piece are not easy to identify or are called something other than the original title so its great when a viewer like yourself can identify it and give us the actual name of the music.
Love this...what is the tune
Thanks for the comment. I cant remember the tune off hand but i'll look back at my edits and find it for you. I
It's a shame that you gave your footage the title Kirkintilloch because you haven't included half of the town. Anyone who doesn't know the town will think that's all there is to it. You haven't done our town justice
Im sorry you arent happy with the video title. It was a general fly over and one of the first ones using that particular drone. I have a lot more Kirkintilloch videos showing pretty much all of the town. When making the videos, I have to be careful of two things. Distance from myself and the drone (legally it has to be within line of sight at all times) and secondly the length of the video. You're 100% correct though that this video doesnt do the town justice hence the reason i've got a number of videos on the channel showing other parts of the great town in Central Scotland. I'd love it if you had a look and let me know what you think. Critique is always welcome as im always learning and a lot of the Kirkie videos were the first ones I'd made,. Thank you for your comment though I really do appreciate you taking time to let me know your feelings.

wild deer kirky
Thanks for sharing the link. I'm impressed that they were so tame. I remember a few years back driving along Cairnview in Waterside and there were 4 wild deer all running in front of the car. They jumped over the first hedge they could into someone's garden. I felt like Santa LOL
