    For future reference Steve, it's "Sha-cure-at" Jay Przekurat and "Du- Bee" Tim Dube . I had to think of you this morning. I was watching Matt Stefan,'s video of the day, and he said that he would guarantee that one bait that every pro angler had in their boat, was a Roboworm!

      thank you. Jays last name has killed me for years!! ROBOWORM!!!!! LMFAO!!! I had people text me non-stop about that. Cheers and tight lines.

    They should have some tournaments with 4facing sonar and some without through the season

      They are going to make some serious changes, soon I think. Cheers and tight lines!!

    Bass fishing needs this kind of stat breakdown, makes for a very interesting and usually a more positive debate. Think of all of the ranking shows that the NFL throws out each year…you could be onto something if you make this a series! Most impactful overall rookie class (not just their rookie year) would be another great list, weighing in the longevity of the anglers in each class, their average AOY finishes, top 10s, wins and Classic appearances…ooo boy that could be a fun wormhole to dove down! I don’t have near the expertise to give the breakdown justice but it would be cool to see

      This year, because of FFS, the rookies have taken a lot of heat, which I understand. I was trying to do my best and do something people might like, but this video has horrible stats. Maybe next time. Cheers and tight lines!!

    This years crop is crazy good but I think I’m most impressed with Tim Dube. He didn’t run that open gauntlet and is still managing to hold his own against the best rookies and veterans alike. Team Dube! 💪

    Without way points and ffs I doubt it. If they are so amazing turn it off , and see how many top 20 finishes. Hell they might be that good🤷‍♂️

      I wish they would do that also, but that isn't the game right now. Might be in the future. Cheers and tight lines!!

    I'm sure the rookies are nice guys. Without FFS, I doubt they would make the elites, let alone be in the top 50 in AOY. Let's be honest for a change.

    • @danramzinski2957
      @danramzinski2957 Před měsícem +1

      Well, the others guys on elites have FFS as well. So no excuses

    • @dualthreatoutdoors
      @dualthreatoutdoors Před měsícem +2

      Agreed, like I think some of these guys would still be good; like for example McKinney would still be top 20 or 30 without FFS but certainly wouldn’t be leading AOY with it

    • @GetUrFishOn
      @GetUrFishOn  Před měsícem

      The veterans have had the same amount of time to learn FFS but some haven't. I know and feel the same about FFS, but right now that's the game they are in. Might have some changes in the future. Cheers and tight lines!!

    Hello Steve. Great topic by the way, I think the rookie class has gotten better year over year as the feeder system improves.
    The days of a 30 year old account deciding to try there hand at the pros is going away just like other individual sports like golf and tennis. I think will increase viewership of an younger audience as they can relate to a same demographic not to insult the older anglers but it is what it is. Just look at the age the the top golfer's. And with an average of 11 million viewers on average in the PGA.
    Every pro sport has had a feeder system. Pro bass fishing is just late to the party.
    As far as ffs is concerned, I believe they will limit the number of transducers and amount/length of screens.
    As for getting info, it is not against the roles so there is no gray area there. But I think they (Bassmaster) will change the roles so if you are in the running to make the elites you will not be allowed to get info. FYI as far as I know there is no prof any of the rookies got info. But people are running with it like it is a fact.
    Tight lines.
    Cheers, Steven.
    BTW thanks for not using the Phrase "old school " 😊

      Every group needs a feeder system IMO or its a one off at this time. I think two anglers have come out and said that they went out and got spots/numbers or charters for a couple places, but that won't happen again. I kinda feel like those places they go to year after year helps the vets, but I understand why the uproar. Thanks for all the help and great comments. Cheers and tight lines!!

    😂Definitely the richest, bit not the best if you count ffs as legitimate. THey also got info after the release of schedule. No disrepect to any of them throw away the info and thetech and they couldnt win a club tourney

    • @GetUrFishOn
      @GetUrFishOn  Před měsícem +1

      The info after release is something I have thought a lot about and I think that change has happened. It stinks but it wasn't stated they couldn't do it and you have to do everything you can to help yourself win. Respect your opinion and view, A LOT!!! Cheers and tight lines!!

    The thing is - will all of these young anglers turn OFF viewership? I liken it to NASCAR where the stars that many knew have left and you have a lot of new names racing. I guess it would help if the person had something extra - Joey Cifuentes III and his cowboy hat - Greg Hackney and Gerald Swindle and their witty humor. Make us look forward to that person weighing in and getting some mic time.
