How to Decorate a Dried Gourd with Macrame/Knotting

Macrame is something you may think of is only for jewelry making or perhaps a 70's flower pot hanging fad that shouldn't be brought back. Well, I want to show you that macrame can be used as a decorative technique on gourds that is both easy and quick to do and the results are simply beautiful. This particular gourd project I am using only one macrame knot, the Josephine knot (also known to fisherman as the sailors' knot).
