Have you ever tried this? Before you go to sleep you tell yourself "I'm going to wake up at 6 AM." And then indeed you woke up at 6 AM. (Or another time you told yourself to wake up.) If so, you may also want to tell yourself "I'm not going to get a cold." (Or whatever you normally believed you would get.) Try it; you've got nothing to lose. (You can still enjoy your lemon-ginger-honey drink.) ❤️
Saying "I'm not going to get a cold" WILL give you a cold, because you're still focusing on colds. What you should be saying is "I am healthy; I am full of energy" etc. 🙂

can you make it a bit thicker? because even my mum suffers from weather changes...... so i was thinking of making something that is like thick syrup that can be mixed with water or soda or even in tea using a spoon, almost like runny honey consistency ..... and also my mum and dad are both diabetics so i can't add too much sugar either....... any suggestions, please?

I dont know about canning recipe but I do a ferment.
Lemon chunks?, slices of ginger you can add slices of garlic. Put in a mason jar up to the half way mark. Cover in honey leaving a few inches of head space. Flip and burp everyday. Bubbles will start in a few days. 1 tbsp 2 x per day for cold and flu season. Leave in a cool place. Kitchen cupboard is fine. Be sure to release gases each day. Full of prebiotic. I keep it all year. ❤
Hi, I like your little recipe for making the Ginger honey lemon syrup. Question for you though. Do you foresee any problem using unprocessed sugar? I like using it's granulated sugar only it's not bleached out white. That's not brown sugar or that made with molasses or anything It's just raw cane sugar. Will this work just as well in your opinion?
