What do you see as the difference between emulation and simulation? I guess if you think of emulation as being the actual production Airbus code running inside the Fenix sim, then it's emulation. But otherwise, it's a representation of the system behaviours coded up by the Fenix team, i.e. the system is simulated. I think we can safely say it's the latter. Happy to be disagreed with if I am on the wrong track though? 😀
@@hjr2000 I guess you are on the right track. I understand that total reprodiction of the systems isn't possible, but at the same time, I think too much of simple system isn't good either.
@@hjr2000 I think he's talking about the emulation as in it's emulating the system but the simulation part would be those systems having an adverse effect in either the flight operation or the performance of the aircraft including the effects of an excessively heated fuel (which could cause catastrophic results).
