This podcast needs to be shown in every South Asian school, college and university... adapted in a way that is more comprehensible to kids of a certain age in a certain locality. Honestly, one of the best 'constructive' videos from South Asia I've watched in a while. Two thumbs up, guys. Keep up the good work.

Sarmad Hassan the law is weak and policy is volatile, the data available on epa website is internationally inapplicable or invalid, the environmental treaty’s signed are not ratified by the government, the EIA and Initial assessment method is outdated and there is no such capacity building measures taken by epas. Specifically talking about marine environment it’s quite confusing that who really hold authority to protect marine environment? What kind of stakeholder involvement is required? The technical issues? Etc. beside political influences there is a lot to handle it through.

There are some counter arguments to be made here.
    1. First of all the rising coal industries are not bad because most countries are in a hurry to sell their coal we can get a bargain out of that deal.
    2. Having fossil fuel policy and encouraging green energy is not double standards or cognitive dissonance. It's just a transitional phase.
    3. The cpec project is boosting the damaged economy of our country, so that we can use that financial ability to simultaneously fund other green projects and restrict the cpec highways to only EV's.
    4. It is right that we need to improve our infrastructure, but we also need to get rid of corruption in the first place and that should be our main priority.
Anyway great content brother. I always say this that your videos are always thought provoking. My only request is that give some feedback on the comment section as well. Salaam Alaikum.

@Science Geek *your India is way worse than Pakistan* yeah I don't think so buddy. Didnt you hear him? You guys are going full coal dude and India exports solar panels. Not only for factories but we have huge LED screens here and there around cities and small towns showing the pollution conditions. Going full Kirby's Dreamland eh? We grow trees too if that's what you mean by fighting climate change but it's more organised, it's a law if you cut down you have to sow twice the number, and not just anywhere or any tree, we record everything and everything gets managed. You should read about things India is doing for climate change and otherwise. We are trying to put exact regulations as there are in the world model cities (banning plastics and all are not a new thing for Indian cities, here 95%+ plastic gets recycled, read about that too). Here you can't cut down trees without proper permission or you will be fined.....and fines in India are now crazy! I really don't like Modi/Amit Shah fucking with you guys like this, I feel helpless. But he is straightening a lot of things at homeland...so a little conflicted.

Actually Pakistan is planting Eucalyptus in large quantity which tend to absorb multiple times more water from ground leaving the ground dry for drought🤣🤣🤣 lol... Keep planting idiots. Bada aya...... India is much worse.
Both the countries are great lands.... Only if people like you were not born in these lands. Assholes

very good and important video! another important point is our diet and the role it can play. meat and dairy industry is the single largest contributor to carbon emissions. more than all forms of transport combined. by eating plant based foods we can also have a huge impact on the environment. many great points raised. everyone in Pakistan needs to watch this video!
