Quota system has become a priviledge for people in interior Sindh. They'll never want to end this system and If any political party will try to eradicate it will lose popular support there. People of Urban Sindh had always given mandate to MQM just for revamping this system. It had an opportunity to eradicate this evil system during Musharraf's reign but Alas!
I studied in Dawood University Karachi. In my department 95% of the staff from HOD to teachers to clerk were outsiders. This is the case in every single government department.

For a strong base you need to work hard. And this "marks k liye parho" provides an instinct for the youth to work hard. Saari duniya main aesa hi system hai. Tum burger awam 2,3 hollywood ki movies or American series dekh k apne systems pe pointless criticism start kar dete ho. Abhi tumari umar kya hai bachey. Thora barey ho jao, taaleem haasil karo, duniya dekh lo or phir baaten karna.

If quota system is abolished and meritocracy is ensured, almost all the seats in any federal government organisation will be occupied by the candidates from Punjab. Quota system ensures that an organisation has representation from every part of the country. I'm not taking sides here but just like any other policy, quota system also has cons as well as pros. Abolishing the system is not the solution here. Providing similar level of educational opportunities across the country is the long term remedy. After that, there will be no need to abolish this system; it will not be needed anymore.

I am still not able to make heads or tails of this. For readers, quota system and age relaxation are two different issues; whereas she harps on criticizing quota system while speaking about her "ordeal" about being rejected for being above age. With regards to Quota System, it ensures just representation of different segments of society in Public Administration. FYI: Pakistan's law ensures 10 Percent quota for Women in all sectors for just representation of gender in Public Administration. Moreover, the age relaxation is provided to provide relief to people from underdeveloped areas. Public Administration and Industrial Progression are two different matters altogether. Brilliance is the currency in industrial sectors, but Public Administration demands strengthening of political order in society. Thus, until and unless the GDP per capita of Pakistan crosses USD 5000, according to an economist Paul Colliers, quota system is necessary to keep societal order intact.
Very thoughtful analysis. Even in a highly developed country like USA, there are programs to take care of underprivileged in education and employment.
Exactly people don't empathize with the underprivileged. And do not realize how privileged they are before criticizing the quota system . This girl in above video born in urban karachi went to private schools because his fathers job paid this competing with a person from desert of Thar having no private schools, who grew up in food scarcity, water scarcity had to go miles to get drinking water. She wants selection to be purely on merit with a person who had such hardships while dealing with life without realizing her privileged lifestyle.

My father was a government officer in Pakistan steel Mills. He gave almost 32 years to Pakistan steel mills. He retired on jan 2017.. and the great thing is today is 7 of August 2019 the dues still pending, retirement money has not given, we file case but tareekh p tareekh mili jarhi hai lekn insaaf nahi mil raha.. we are talking about private jobs.. but this happens to a government firm.. no one take step on that..

This shit is common in kpk.... Most punjabis students come with both kpk and punjab domicile thus they get admission in either of province.... And kpk students are deprived of thier rights
We lahories are also freaking with these people we are more batter education from the school life but the cota system started from the university and school life we done more struggle from the school life but all are wasted because of cota they make main professional degree of university like bscs weak and put the meaning less slaybuss in our course outline such like islameeyat pak study and 4 to 5 maths community skills like advantages of reading and advantages of community like garbage topics we don't really need these kind of topics but all done it in our school life we dont learn it again and again these are meaning less today and this is realated to degree we pay fesses for getting conputer progaraming and syber security like knowledge but the Institute tell us every thing without computer knowldge because of we pay a fees in large amount and we get a admittion and we complain this to university then they have no words and just says to us that this is system if you can do it then stay here otherwise you go from here we not make your mind for to do this degree these all are educated peoples these done their buisness of punjab villiger pay a fees in very large amount this is why they make the degree weak and meaning less and escaping the main subjects from the degree because of these gays and this is why these punjabi villigers destroy our future even they have not basic knowledge of it's degree but they done all are done master degree this is why pakistan illetercy rate is 166 out of 175 countries they make the education and jobs profession but its own mind shape even they cant do their jobs on proper time they make a fun of whole country time is to near our country name add in blacklisted becuse of all these blunder or ass holes peoples

The girl knew she was overage for the job then why she applied. Punjab domicile is worse in this regard. In Css punjab domicile holders get no age relaxation and are allocated 50% seats for 57% population. Many punjabi students who would have gone on to serve the country in spite of passing are shown the door even though every year there are empty seats as people from other provinces fail the exams.
So that's why they have to stop all Domicile and Quota based recruitment. After Merit, If every single person get hired from one town it doesn't matter. It will eventually be good for the country. The country needs passionate and skilled youth in key positions regardless of race, colour, background,...

Junaid bhai.... I didn't expect this from you, I think you have not done any research against this. First of all this case does not belongs to Qouta system and sbp is independent org which is under federal govt but not in govt, there recruitment, salary, bonus, loan, retirement all managed by sbp it self not federal govt..
In this case check the advertisement where they clearly mention age relaxation for balochistan, gilgit, Fata and AJK.. BUT NO QOUTA AT ALL..
Futher she claimed that she obtained 80 percent in previous exam but not qualified... Yes there is alot of students who do so... But sbp has a policy that you have to qualify in all subjects that are 4 or may be 5 carrying equal marks if you got 90 percent in 3 subjects and fail in 1 then actually you are disqualified...
Rest qouta system is totally injustice this should be removed and provide equal education and equal opportunity for all pakistani...
Trust I am just writing this that you must guide lady that the point she is talking is wrong there is no qouta in sbp recruitment process.

Actually the test had 3 sections
1) english
2) analytical
3) general knowledge
There are alot of case where students satisfies the aggregate criteria but unable to satisfy tje individual criteria e.g if aggregate criteria is 60 marks & in each section individual must obtain 50% marks. This is where problem arise applicants fail to obtaind in certain individual section but there aggregate is more then 60 so those are considered disqualified

I guess she said 70, even tho she wasn't on merit that's why she was disqualified. No big deal you should check on yourself why you disqualified instead of blaming the sbp, nts, system..
There will be people who obtained 90 marks, they're not blaming the system
I have applied 6 times in state bank, when i score 70+ they set the criteria 75 and when u score 65 they set 70, further they don't issue result list, Where we can confirm whether passing criteria is same for everyone or 75 is just for me to disqualify me.
