@@danielhicks3335 had to cancel due to covid in hunt private land the owners didnt want me to come but I was like I'll be in the woods you wont even see me either way this spring is looking better
@@BSBASSIN I went with one of my cousins who is crazy good at calling and saw a turkey get killed for the first time. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time because it was my first time having a turkey up close but someone else got him that same sit, it was 3 of us me my cousin and a guy out of our hunting club and the guy out of our club killed him
@@danielhicks3335 it's always great if anyone gets one. This deer season I only hunted one weekend and I got a big doe no one else in my group shot. We all had a equally good time my other partners or group members got deer archery season and I was just as happy for them

Very fast burst of air over the call. He uses the word 'hut' but 'tut' works better for me
I dont know what I am doing wrong but I have been practicing this for a while and I still cant get it right

If you’re using a mouth call, I don’t recommend them as a starter. Box calls are the best for learning to call. Mouth calls require lots of practice

i hate being this guy but... buddys telling me not to pop my lips on the cluck. Instructions on the back of the two Primos calls i just bought read :
Cluck - Say, "plock" sharply. Note the "P" is formed with your lips when you do this..

Troy said some people will tell you to make the sound with your lips. YOU people told me to make the sound with my lips XD
I think he says that it can be done that way too, this is the way he does it that works for him

helpful tip for people still learning like i am i practiced the cluck for about 3 days straight with a turkey call into my mouth i was walking around my house with it and everything but you need to practice and watch this video about 2 times a day and pratice a lot in a couple of days like me you will slowely start to cluck like troy and also watch lots of videos on how to cluck and purr
