Perfect video for setting your gimbal for the first time. I'm an absolute beginner and this video took me from being stuck on how to put the release plate on my camara (yeah.. lol) to quickly having a perfectly balanced gimbal. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the help with this video, your explanations are great! I was wondering though, can I balance my gimbal with the neck strap on my camera or will that mess up the balance? And what if I don't know what focal length I'm going to be shooting at - do I have to re-balance every time I zoom? Thanks!

Thank you very much. Excellent content! This video helped me to easily set up my Sony A7 RIII with the Sony FE 35mm 1.4 GM. I struggle a little bit when adding my microphone ZOOM F1-SP with shotgun mic. I can't point the lens towards the ceiling, because the mic hits the roll motor. How should I deal with this? Is it possible to do it the other way around and point the lens down to adjust the axis? I play a little bit around and made it so that the camera with the mic stays when i point it in any direction except I go to the very end. Then the lens flips a little bit, but this starts when I point the lens to the very end of the axis. Is this normal when having additional mic on the camera (additional weight) or should I rebalance my set up (if yes, I would need your help how I should do this)?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Bought 2 to replace our DJIs for the built in light. Unfortunately they’re not very smooth even when perfectly balanced. Was hoping a firmware might come out to fix it.

Thanks for the video; it guided me through more than one mystery.
Also, I see you're mounting a Pentax camera. I'm using a K-70 so we're in the same boat:
The WB-3 does not communicate with Pentax cameras meaning that the camera controls must be done manually, on the camera itself, not with the buttons on the WB-3.
My question is: What's the significance of the downloadable software mentioned in the
manual? Is that needed when using a Pentax camera?

Mr. Evan thank you for such a detailed tutorial instruction, very useful. I have bmpcc4k camera with sigma 20-70mm lens. I try doing how u explained it. I guess due to counter weight issue the gimbal fails to balance. do you have any idea in fixing it.

Hi. Favor. Would anyone know if this would work with a Panasonic GH3. I ONLY need it to balance my daughters camera. So she could take smooth shots for some film projects. Nothing more than that. Thanks very much.

So I am sure as you know on the monitor of the zhiyum weebil 3 it doesn't tell you which axis needs fixed so what is the sign that is clearly balanced

when all the axes lock can stay still in any angle, the gimbal is been well balanced.

First of all, thank you for your tutorial, it was much more helpful than any others I found, including the company’s tutorials. I am hoping you can help me with one thing: I get all the way through the video and think I’ve perfectly balanced it…and then I get to the part of the tut where you say you should be able to point/tilt the camera in any direction and it should stay there. Mine doesn’t - no matter what direction I point it in, it just levels back out to be pointing forward as if I’m ready to take a picture straight on. What am I doing wrong? Thank you so much

The Sony A6000 isn't on the compatibility list of the Weebill 3: zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230228/1677571240454-tA2GSFh2.pdf, the gimbal can only provide stabilization function for the camera.
