    The Swedish chef was very popular in Sweden :) We never knew what the Hördi Gördi he said but we loved him.

    I'm Swedish and I never heard of anyone referring to the Swedish chef as ”the Norwegian chef”. We just say it in Swedish, so it is ”den svenska kocken”. Kock means chef and nothing else in Swedish. I promise. The Swedish word chef (pronounced with a long vowel, listen at Google translate for correct Swedish pronunciation) means boss, though…

      Alexander ALLIN His Norwegian accent was excellent. People with poor English accents in Sweden (luckily they’re few) would use Swedish intonations and melodies, not Norwegian. Alexander Skarsgård does this on a late night show just to compare what he’d sound like if he’d speak with Swedish accent, and that of course is on point because he’s a Swede haha. Also yes, I’m a Swede don’t let my username fool you.

    There was this show calledf Sheep in the big city which had an angry swede in it. They called him the "crazy swede" here in sweden so i've never heard of anyone saying the swedish chef was norwegian XD
    But one thing i know, i love when people make funny characters swedish. I dont take any offense at all. I'll just be standing next to them listening to the swedish anthem. "I waaaant to live, i want to dieeee in theeeee north~"

      No. And because you asked, I looked it up. It was Greg Ellis. He played Michael Amador the virus broker on season three of 24.
      Adam Hills, on the other hand, hasn't done any voice acting. I wish he did though. Now I want to go through the trouble of making a video game, just so I can cast Adam Hills as one of the characters. Of course, in order to justify casting him, the character would only have one foot.

    I did stand up around Austin for years back in the late 90’s, 00’s, and early 10’s. I literally did the bit about what non-English speakers must sound like when pretending to speak English (or other foreign languages). I even helped produced some CZcams videos of Chinese people pretending to speak English. This guy is a complete hack comic and steals his bits.

    • @unclecreepy4185
      @unclecreepy4185 Před 3 lety +1

      I also had a bit about how you know you’re about to hear the worst impression. Back then, everyone was trying to get into the impression game like Frank Caliendo. Because they couldn’t write an actual joke. Of course, most of the hack’s impressions consisted only of Arnold, Walken, and Shatner with the occasional very white sound Cosby. Terrible Impressionist will start with “you know who I love?”
      David. David. David. David. David.
      (They won’t stop saying your name until you say what?)
      Do you know who I love? Christopher Walken (they don’t let you try to answer their question)
      Then they want you to imagine that person in a situation they would never be in.
      Can you imagine if Christopher Walken worked at Burger King?
      That’s when you know you’re about to hear a terrible impression.
      The other thing terrible impressionists do is 1) just say the catchphrase of whomever they’re trying to impersonate, 2) say the name of the person they’re impersonating. Or for the CZcamsrs, 3) put up a picture of whom they’re impersonating.
      This guy did not fail to set up his terrible impression and terrible joke by saying who he loves, setting up a ridiculous situation, and saying the catchphrase.
