Karen's strategy of just. Describing what she sees is god tier thinking.

My thoughts too! Lol
I’m a millennial and I’m 35 and got all of these references.
@@TheOffensiveSenses I'm 30, got all of them too.
@@TheOffensiveSenses This is the problem with the definition of "millennial" and 30 somethings being grouped with 20 somethings....there is a huge difference between the two. As a 34 year I got all of Seths but none of Karens.

This needs to be a recurring segment. Karen is a doll.
Seth likes to have his staff have some fun. Karen could be the next Amber. except she's not very funny.
@Robert Robrahn Agreed
Yes but no but yes. This *should* be a recurring segment. But *not* because she's a doll. But yes, she is.
@Jess Hanks Who is Sgt peppers?
@Jess Hanks now that's funny 😄

I must admit that for the first few minutes I was like "How is this child a writer on the show?". That quick comeback made me feel guilty for thinking that. :D

@@smrkva5911 it's hardly quick, and I'm also in my early 20s but I know pretty much all of those things and people so it's hardly very impressive - she looks and sounds like somebody whom they have on staff only to tell them her dad wouldn't make that joke
If that is the degree of "wit" that impressed you and the 700 upvotes that statement got? No wonder Logan Paul and that Pewdie guy became huge. We're doomed

It's not rare at all. there are tons of people like this that appear on television. Just not on major channels.
Major channels create copy cat behaviour to reach the top.

I got angry when she didn't get it. I feel a bit guilty but still want to punch her in the face...
This is what elevates Seth's show, the way he involves his writing staff into the show.
Even in his monologues he references his staff.
Alex James you know... you are totally right!
Diana Mitford Congratulations. You’ve raised racism, ignorance and stupidity to a whole new level.
You all are so retarded, blame his writting staff and producer for not covering important events. But nooooo, this show just like Fox and friends ks bullshit. No one covers the issues that are going on in Sudan. Or even the US's illegitimate colony, Liberia, and the long term negative impact of America forgetting Sudan after they sponsored a radical leader to overthrow its democracy.
Uhhh, you are aware that David Letterman was the first one to do that almost 40 years ago and Conan and Kimmel took that and still do it till this day. Do you watch TV?!
@wynston dannerman ...It’s a COMEDY show. Fox & fiends actually pretends to be serious.

I played with my Tamagochi then when it died and my elementary school got Apple Macs and windows 95, we moved to Neopets.

ML CA people are generating as fast as they can. I don’t know how many more generations we could have 😄
Honestly, that was a pretty cute reply from her. I would love to see them do this more. It was pretty funny. I barely got any of the references from either of them, but that's because I have very unusual popular culture interests. I got Nirvana and the fax though, so it's something.

i am in the age range and know only nirvana and fax machines, but i've never seen a fax machine in person ever.
@@Harajukujpopgirl I think it has to do with many factors. Poor areas tend to have older technology, movies, etc. I had some friends who still played sega genesis/snes back when game cubes and ps2 were big. When I came to arizona to visit from illinios back in the early 90's before moving here, the toy aisle was considerably different. If you grow up with younger/older siblings, it can make a difference too, or how old your parents are...things like that.
This segment works because they both seem like very sweet people making fun of each other with affection.
That is such a heartwarming concept

Yeah, but it went downhill after season 2.
Yeah, once Polly got casted it was terrible!

Milli Vanilli is actually a pretty sad story if you actually look into it. I hope she DOESN’T read that Wikipedia entry.

Millennials react to historical moments they know nothing about.
Tell me what age group you believe to be "millennials".
Calling Milli Vanilli "historical"...
The War of Independence, WW1, WW2, why we fought the Civil War,...
Jrbr 549 you do realise we HAVE to learn about historical wars as part of our education right? If a millennial doesn’t know about those wars then they weren’t listening in school
@@Denturess : Can you tell me when "you do know _______, right?" became a thing?

Yep.
Same, I’m only one year older than her and I knew most of the things seth has shown in all the videos.

Nooo.. If you don't know that album, I wouldn't even bother.
Yeah that Nirvana one hurt me lol 😆. But I felt Seth lol on to the next.
I think it would blow her hair back...not as much as Kurt blew his...but quite a lot.

@@Boobalopbop exactly. Everyone should know that.
I love how he just trolled her after she didn't know the Nirvana cover.
I figured he'd go with: "You don't know what this is? Never mind."
I find it a little suspicious that she didn't know such an iconic album cover. I didn't listen to the Beatles growing up in the 80s, but if you put a Sgt. Pepper's album in front of me I'd know what it was. Especially in the internet age, how could you not know what that was?
@@LividImp She would know who Nirvana was I'm sure, but I find it plausible she might not know the album cover art. I didn't know that was a Nirvana album cover until a few years ago and I'm 31. I was too young to be interested in Nirvana when they were popular.
@@LividImp I was born in the 80s. I didn't listen to Nirvana. I know maybe a couple songs, none of the album covers. In fact there's only really a handful of album covers I'd recognize (without the text or pictures of the artist) from any era of music.
@@LividImp I'm the same age that she is and I didn't recognize that cover. I also don't listen to Nirvana. I didn't even know that was an album cover.
He should have held up a Tamagotchi pet device because that would have been an interesting comparison to Neopets.
