Since someone needs to comment with something that has to do with the statement above about the "no one was harmed" notice, they are not posted on every clip, and sometimes they are posted when it is explicitly evident that someone had definitely been harmed, such as in the clip of the motorcyclist running into the side of the car and flipping onto the top of the car.

Been in those pile-ups on moto-cross... Long as you're in good gear, and most of the time it's mandatory to compete (league rules) yeah, a little chaffing and bruise is about the worst of it... Once in a while, it can get bad, but it's pretty rare. ;o)

I too felt annoyed that they sat there laughing and filming instead of helping, geeez what a heroes. I can't say that's what's wrong with society.
I remember when common sense was an apreciated trait. Now when people are idiots, other people feel sorry for them. Not only did that guy likely have the mental capacity to hold the board in a way that it would less likely be blown a soon as the wind began to pick up but they should have known the weather at that time could change at short notice.
There's feeling empathy for people who have been it situations that they couldn't avoid or where genuinely hard to predict but in situations like this, getting out and helping would be a pretty silly thing to do, you'd just have a few more people covered in sand.
If they where in danger of loosing their life then helping would be the right thing to do however that isn't the case here.
We all make dumb decisions from time to time, it's better to get mocked and not make it again rather than expecting people to cry on your behalf over it.
I wouldn't upload the video to the internet for the public to see but this one already has been so it's open to opinion.
