The first editions come with the circular headlights according to their website at least 😅

Now that you've driven every TNGA-F platform, what does the Land Cruiser provide that the Tacoma/4Runner doesn't provide at the same price point?
Chris, To me the contrasting white roof should be readily available on all grades of Land Cruiser. At least Toyota kept up with the Prado tradition of a higher greenhouse that better accommodates taller drivers and passengers. From what I have seen, the new 4Runner seems paradoxically cramped. In other words, the model specifically aimed at corn-fed, plus-sized Americans and Canadians is smaller inside than the global model that caters to people of a generally smaller stature. 🤔 Going forward, there has been no word of a new 2 Door Prado despite the fact that version has been sold globally for decades. At least the legendary 2TR-FE 2.7 engine lives on as an option overseas. 🤩🤩
The 2TR-FE lives on? Gross. A nearly pointless engine. It has no power, and no MPG. If reliability is everything, I'd rather have the 4.0L V6 to get the same mpg and reliability, but with some power.

Hey TheTopher, the lc200 and this new one are very nearly the same size. Same wheelbase, same width. The new one is 1.2 inches shorter in length overall and less than 1 inch shorter in height. It’s not way smaller.

with the mark ups were almost 10K, your better off buying a GX at that point. LC are at like 79K for a regular LC in So Cal. its absurd.
GX550 is the way to go. This is basically a 4Runner with Land Cruiser badges.

This Land Cruiser Prado 250 looks awesome . And way better than Land Cruiser 300 series with twin turbo V6
The shape looks too good it looks like back to 1980s, and solid frame solid built excellent design
In Middle East we have options with engine, the 2.4 turbo non hybrid electric and also it comes with a diesel 2.8 (looks like the Hiluxs pickup truck and fortuner suv) and it is really ashamed with a price, but other than that looks great, in USA and Western Europe countries it called land cruiser, but with Asian East and Middle East and Eastern Europe called Prado, thank you topher guy for this review
I LOVE these new vehicles toyota is putting out buy my goodness are they expensive. Why is the TNGA such an expensive platform? Even adjusted for inflation I don't think toyotas older truck based vehicles were this expensive other than the landcruiser of course.

I see a dirt road, but I don't see off-road. An ordinary crossover or even a not too low front-wheel drive passenger car can cope with such a road.

This is nice for $56,000
How can the base model be missing so many features from the higher trims yet still be so expensive? At $56K starting this trim seems like a huge rip-off, comparing it to the middle LC trim. If you REALLY like the cloth seats, round headlights, and slightly smaller screen, I guess this is for you. With all the features that are removed though, I would expect this to start at $50K, not $56K. Why even have the slightly smaller screen on a single trim and have that weird cheap looking bezel around it? Why remove the front camera or the sway-bar disconnect on only a single trim, when this is an off-roader? Why put in the smaller, more-cramped/harder-to-read gauge cluster on only a single trim? All these downgrades do not make this a $56K experience.
