I have a question I just installed a intake on my civic it ran perfect with the stock air box but not it’s throwing a code for throttle spring malfunction I can’t seem to find the issue it runs for 5-10 sec then shuts off also my check engine light is on

Sound like something is not connecting. What trouble code do you get? I would check all connectors try to use contact cleaner on the terminal and the connector side to make sure it got good contact.

@@EhMaac hook everything up, reset the code and try it again. If the code showed Throttle spring malfunction than look into it. This model got the electronic control Throttle Position sensor, so it very odd that it show that trouble code.

will this sensor make the car idle surge up and down and make the car seems it's gonna die ? and why did u clean it , what were the symptoms, my car surge like it's gonna die at a stop signed, i clean the throttle body , maf sensor and it's still the same ... it's not throwing codes so i don't know where to start

sound like you have a vacuum leak. If there is no check engine light, check all vacuum lines including the intake hose before the throttle valve. If check engine light is on , you need to find out what code it giving and go from there.
