With it's opening/closing canopy this Cougar is exceptional and flown in great style by its pilot at the Large Model Association Tibenham Show.

that was a treat, my favourite fighter jet the f9 was way ahead of its time first flown 1946 and the first jet neil armstrong the moon man flew ,just looks so beautiful in the sky

You sent me to Wikipedia with this one. I didn’t know that there were two versions of the F-9; the Panther and Cougar, the former with straight wings, and the latter swept. Whatever, these are stunning models! Thanks for another good’n.
