Simon Bartlett *_thank you for the compliments, Simon._*
I'm very glad to know that you like my videos. This motivates me to keep the level of doing good RC videos.
_Stay tuned for more in 2018_ 😉
How much does it go for the simple reason I trust ThePanther then built home planes that are out there for sale.
Awesome aircraft!
@@davidhernandez9985 _It depends on what turbine and electronics are used._
Where can I buy it this plane?
Thank you for capturing this excellent aircraft. My father USN Commander John W Ramsey flew the F9 in two tours of the Korean War with VF-111 Sundowners. On his 2nd tour he was the squadron CO. He flew in many combat situations. This plane was tough. I have a picture of him standing next to his F9 in the hanger deck pointing to an entry and exit hole (6 to 9" O.D.) in the fuselage just before the tail section. The AA shell went thru his plane but never exploded when he and his division blew up a North Korean AA train. After his two tours in WWII with VF-11 and two crash landings in battle, it was a miracle i was ever born. Thanks again for the memories and a very supreme model you have constructed indeed.
Very cool! It really looked full scale at the beginning!
TAOFLEDERMAUS *_thank you for your kind comments, my friend._*
it did!hey try shooting something like a an old rc plane that can't fly anymore
Just beautiful, mechanical perfection. Just 2 minutes before the end of the vid, show casing the 5th scale Saber, i started thinking about the Panther, my favorite Korean era jet. I still get a little shiver when ever I see one.
By the way how big can you BUILD one before the powers that be, frown on you?
Again, terrific accomplishment.
.....and did anybody else see the contrail over the model at about 3:07 ?? What another neat tie in !!
FANTASTIC!!!
Canopy, wheel brakes, full flaps, and even a steering front wheel.!!!
And those awesome low speed, full flaps passes...Beautifull!!!
Only the pilot's helmet it's not the correct Navy's model for the time.!!!
Kudos to you!!!
A.Rodrigues.
_Thank you for your kind comment. YES ... I know about the wrong helmet. It's from the Air Force, because there was no Navy pilot available._
A beautiful model that captures the real feel of the full sized aircraft. Flown expertly and shows off the performance of the model. My father built an F9F in 1951 powered by a Dyna Jet engine . Seeing yours fly fills in what I couldn't witness for myself, as I was only 2 years old at the time. Thanks for posting. Charles
That is one hell of a great RC jet, best I've seen yet. Has the handling of the real thing.
Excellent video. The painstaking detail is absolutely amazing. Squadron VF154, tail code H was on board the USS Princeton - CVA 37 from 01/24/53 - 09/21/53. The squadron flew the F9F-5 model. I have had the good fortune of speaking to a Korean War Naval aviator who did 2 tours of duty in Korea flying both the F4Us and the F9Fs. Thank you for posting.
_Thank you for the compliment and your interesting comment, which I really appreciate!_ 👍
I'm stunned over how beautiful that was! Best scale "flying" I've ever seen and a perfect day for it! Wow!
_Thank you for your kind comment. Much appreciated !!!_
Beautiful example! Superbly executed and flown. Intro video looked like the real deal!
If the remote control handler wasn't in the camera, you'd swear it was full size. This thing is amazing. Next thing is to get a camera into the cockpit, or in the nose for on board flights.
Craig Pennington _Thank you for your kind comments, Craig._
Unfortunately it was not planned to meet Arthur at the airfield. Otherwise I would brought my 4 Mobius cameras with me.
We will repeat the video with some on board footages.
_Cheers, RCSA_
What a beauty. Highest compliments!
The only piece missing is an LSO. Beautiful Panther, from construction, paint, stenciling, to flight. Congrats to Mr. Kohler. You always manage to come up with the best vids Horst nice work.
bob dyer *_Hi Bob._* _Thank you for your kind comments. You're right ... an LSO would be great to see in this video._
Back in 2009 I did a video of another Panther F-9 of Arthur's hangar. There I've mixed a radio conversation between pilot and tower. Too sad that I didn't do it on this video as well.
_Cheers, Horst_
A beauty of a model and flown with such sensitivity, outstanding
An incredible model and amazing camera work! You made it look 1:1 and most people would have a hard time telling this model from the full scale version. The heat waves were awesome! This might be your best video yet! Thumbs up! 👍 👍
Cheers, Bob 😎
TripleThreatRC _Thanks for the compliments, Bob._
I don't know why I was waiting so long to edit and upload this video.
Yes. The heat gives a special look of the scenery. It was mid October last year and late afternoon. Best time for doing videos of Rc planes.
_Cheers, my friend_ 👊😎
The only thing that would have made it perfect was a few white puffy scattered clouds, to bad we can't control weather hey.
I swore I saw the pilot giving us the finger! CHRIST that was SO real! Best landing EVER. That strip is barely long enough to land that thing on, and definitely, if not for those wheel brakes you would have gone for a ride in the grass. It's worth a second or third watch of that landing at least if not the whole video.
Real fighter pilots would be grounded for flying like that.
Nice video.
So realistic everything 100%, take off, flying and landing. 4:42 I thot flaps were down and was belly landing, excellent flying
Thank you for your kind comment which I really appreciate !!!
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. Impeccable detail.
Thank you so much 😀
The best RC I have seen. Everything right on scale even the speed! Nice control handling too!
A perfect scale plane with scale flying attitudes and detail. You acknowledged the Air Force helmet not being right, but with your obvious skill I'm sure you could build one. It's the only detail that I can find fault with. Otherwise, THE BEST!
Beautiful plane. Great camera work. Perfect flying. And no lame music to hide the sound. Thank you very much sir. 🙏🏼
Very Impressive. Love the way it was handled !!! Great Piloting skills !!!
I was watching this video while I was waiting for KSP to load, and right as you started filming the takeoff, the intro music for the game came on, and it was beautiful! Thanks for a great video!
_good timing ... LOOOL_ 👍😉
Superb model, piloting and camera work. I have one minor quibble: in order to completely appreciate the works of art these R/C models are, PLEASE show at least one scene (even a still shot at the beginning or end of the video) showing the plane in close proximity to a person to show its actual scale. I love your efforts to display each one as realistically as possible (done magnificently here in the taxiing scenes), but such an image allows us to appreciate the work that obviously goes into creating these triumphs of engineering and construction.
_Thank you for your great comment, which I really appreciate._
I fully understand your point of view. It's always hard to find an adequate thumbnail for the video.
I'll do my very best to improve my work ;)
Incredible. Beautiful model. Well done. Be proud of yourself.
Great plane, flying and video taping.
Glad you enjoyed it !
Simply fantastic and simply the very best in RC modelling and flight display on CZcams and really looking forward for more updates soon. Thanks so much. Regards.
this channel is going to hit now
Congratulations, Mr.Kohler awesome aircraft!
All you need is a scale size William Holden to climb in....incredible attention to detail.
Rick Davis *_thank you for your kind comments. Much appreciated._*
Yes, he sure will fit perfectly into the jet. 😉👍
Superb! The modelling, flying and editing/filming! Thanks again for such high end videos!!
Sean _Thank you for the compliments, Sean. Much appreciated ! ! !_ 👍😉
Especially gear up motion speed is like real👍
Thank you for your kind comment ! 👍😉
Great job have to say buddy. I am liking the way you film. Honestly thought it was full size at the start and not RC. Such a distinctive style you have. Keep it up. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
The Panther was the first plastic model I ever built; probably mid 50s. It was blue plastic and the canopy was that greenish plastic they used to use, Their lines still mesmerize me,
Holy i almost thought this was real until i read the title extremely well made
As has been said - (another) stellar video Horst - wonderful plane and you captured it just right. Even the canopy closes automatically!
Perfect sky for an enjoyable flight... what a treat, and super low passes too.
ChrisB257 *_Thanks for the compliments, Chris._*
I rather would have some clouds instead of a blue sky. It better shows the speed of the model.
_Take care, my friend._
ChrisB257 best video I’ve seen for ages.superb flying and filming
Great video of a beautiful, smoothly- flown Panther model!
Beautiful video of this elegant A/C
Awesome!.....now im remember when korean war .... Panther F9F & so many good pilot ( Movie " The Bridges at Toko - ri " ) .... They make Free & Peace......I never forget.....
Chaka! Very cool and realistic. A new reference in Video quality and demo flight. He love to entertain us!
Ein absolut perfektes Modell, welches vom Piloten super realistisch geflogen/gesteuert wurde.
Beautiful model and great scale flying. Nice video.
msp1865 _Thank you for the compliments !_
That's it - the first to fly on scale speed and this makes it look so real.
@@carlosholst5380
YES, I noticed that too.!!
A realistic, correctly scaled speed too, that makes it even more authentic.!!!
That's a super nice replica and the video was done really well 👍🏻
И всё-таки, большие модели, завораживают и очаровывают!)
Big RC planes look and fly more realistically ! 👍👏
of all that eras jet fighters this has to be the best looking imho. Gorgeous video and A/C
Horst - da hast du wieder mal tolle Arbeit geleistet. TOP!!!
Lisa und Fritz Jamnig _Vielen Dank. Es freut mich, dass dir das Video gefällt._ 👍 😎
super brilliant, one of the best looking fighter jets ever.
Absolutely amazing! One of these days we'll see one with the pilots head moving side to side and giving a salute!
Sweet jet.. The head on shoot in the beginning looks so full-scale..
PatBALEX _Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad to know that you like the video._
That gave me some weird flashback. I thought I saw the Blue Angels fly these as a child but checking they were flying F-9 swept wing Cougars. I remember that paint scheme. It was more likely they were flying F-11s but watching that video felt real. Great job!
The Blue Angel's did fly this plane. It was their first jet after the Hellcat and the Bearcat.
@@user-zl9pv1py5m thanks for confirming. I had to be two or three at the time, the Panther I recall the first time I saw the Blue Angels. (Gotta love those times when they would do low passes over suburban neighborhoods and everyone was okay with it.)
My Dad was a aviation electrician in fighter squadron VF-154 aboard CV-37 USS Princeton in 1953.
Awesome.. Thanks from NZ 👍🇳🇿
Absolutley Fanatstic!
Many thanks !
Another excellent video of some excellent scale RC .... WOW!
Thank you for your kind comment, Johny. Much appreciated !!! 👍😎
Happy2019, Mr. Kohler To & Your Family!

ki65ki1 _Thank you for your kind words, my friend._
Hope you are doing well, Christian 😉
Awesome and masterpiece modell! Impressive display flight and professional pilot! Congratulations!
Grumman Ironworks Jets forever!
Smooth touch down better than prop-planes.
Absolute beauty! I am in awe!
awesome motion picture quality!
You should invest in a couple tiny hd camera and mount them on the cockpit, wings, etc.
I think we would all love to see the 'birds eye view' clips spliced into these videos. : )
psygn0sis _I have 5 small cameras, but this video was made by chance and therefore I didn't had my complete equipment with me._
Have a look at this video, where you can see the small cameras in action.
m.czcams.com/video/Ye270nDBgks/video.html
Happy2019,psygn0sis agree to simply see how the cockpit & the control panel of the aircraft handles.
Happy2019,psygn0sis, roger that to simply see how the cockpit is & the control panel of the plane.
A superb scale flight, and of course excellent videoing, I bet he was glad of the brakes on landing !
Gorgeous model.
Flexing oleo legs and heat waves, BEAUTIFUL Horst! A real stunner of a video :)
This is amazing, it almost looks like the real thing. I like the moving canopy!
Beautiful scale flying
Alex Enns _Thank you for the compliments!_
Nice! Wonderful! Very similar to the F-86 video! Complements to the videographer and to the modeler!
AMAZING VIDEO MY FRIEND!!! You had me fooled there at first. 🤣👍🏼
Chad Cole _THANK YOU MY FRIEND._
I feel sorry about foolish you 😉👍
RCScaleAirplanes - LMBO 🤣 Don’t feel sorry. Lol. It was funny. Lol
Chad Cole *_he he he_* 😉
Great work! All that's needed is a working tailhook and some arresting wires.
Fantastic.!!!
It can be featured in movies, passing like the REAL thing.!!!
"The bridges at Toko-Ri".!!!!!
( W/ William Holden.)
I agree, Bill Holden was fantastic in that film, and aerial photography by Charles G Clark was amazing. I cannot tell this RC model from the real F9F's. Great flying and great job.
excellent craftmanship! Thank you for posting! :)
longbowdt _Thank you for your kind comments. Much appreciated !_
I also agree that the camera work is amazing. The opening scene of the plane taxiing towards the camera is especially entrancing. I had wonder if it was a the real thing for a moment. Kudos!
Outstanding model. Excellent flight.
Beautiful plane skilled pilot

Really cool, looks as if it should have been used in the film The Bridges at Toko-Ri...
Fancy plane! I'd be quite nervous to fly it, though I'm sure it's easier to fly then smaller versions :)
Very nice video sir! I enjoyed that :)
Wooow......Fantastic.....very good Work.....👍 👏 👍
Greetings from Germany 🤝
Thank you very much! 👍😉
the Jet and video...incredibly authentic....straight from The Bridges at Toki Ri movie ...

First 60 sec. fooled me. Well done!
Very nice video, and beautiful aircraft. It feels like the aircraft is big enough for me to sit in :-)
