MightyMattman90 indeed :) You know what’s not good practice? Jumping into a custom game and getting bullied by a whole party of people, leaving because you’re being bullied and then getting suspended for “leaving matches early” _Thanks Xbox_

Something i hardly see mentioned on warden guides is his delayed side heavys. If you land a gb you get your guaranteed side heavy right, but what most people dont know is that you can delay the 2nd heavy in the double heavy chain. This is extremely useful beacuse it catches people off guard and for me it gets me a lot of extra damage people dont expect it to be thrown and it catches people mid attack or gb all the time just be carefull not to abuse it or its ez parry
You are correct, it is a very useful tactic and can catch people off guard. It works quite well off of his light chains too. The guide is more about understanding what the character can do and punishes, I might do some mix ups and tactics in a video later down the line. This was my first guide video though so I'm bound to have missed something.
@@hypnos3000 Not too much more, as she stacks bleed. To be honest I'd like to see hyper armour on her deflect stab and better tracking on her side dodge heavies.
Thanks for the guide, I've been playing for honor for awhile but never really picked a main until I played Kensei, got kind of bored with him and not really any good armor so I decided to change my main into Warden. This will help me get started on taking Jerusalem (from the knights) :)
I hope you found it helpful! The out of stamina punishes have changed since I made this guide though so there is a link to the updated punishes in the description. Hope you enjoy Warden! He's my main alongside Peacekeeper.

When throwing a out of stamina opponent I find top heavy into unblockable top faint (which most people will try to parry or dodge) then guardbreak again or parry into another top heavy
A very viable mix-up. I wanted to only include the optimal punish as it's better for someone to learn mix ups themselves through experimentation. That being said, the optimal out of stamina punishes have changed since I made this guide. There is a link to the updated punishes in the description.
Hey, stopped playing in S3 and just had a look at For Honor again, and i was quite shocked how they butchered my Onetrick-Hero and looked up your guide. Really like the "straight to the point" video style of yours, awesome guide. But i do have a question. Onwards of 6:40 to about 7:30 you mention the out of stamina throw punish, back in the day it was possible to do exactly that, but after just testing it out, (had to fiddle a bit till i got used to that training arena) the bot always blocks the second attack. I am throwing the bot into the right direction, is out of stamina, and stick placement is also correct. The bot settings are: Custom Moveset with just Block selected;Hold Position; Move Cooldown unticked. Is it possible that they hotfixed it in the last 1 1/2 Months, or am i missing something? Thanks in Advance

I don't think thick blood is worth it, the stun bomb is really good for baiting opponents since they will dodge roll and it's basically a free dash heavy.
A solid choice and always useful. I stopped running with it after the nerfed it's ability to kill minions. Thick blood is just my preference, it protects against the nasty shaman bite and fire oddly enough so it is situational. Though I think you're correct in fiat lux being a more optimal choice, benefits of hind sight. 🙂
Delaying an attack is waiting a second or half a second later before inputting the next part in the chain. For example you can perform wardens zone into top heavy by either immediately inputting the heavy after the zone or waiting until wardens sword has swung round his/her body before inputting it. The link in the description shows this example.
You should always use the ones you like but in terms of efficiency. Taking out the Trash kills the quickest. Spinning decapitation is the quickest animation wise, both of those recover 20hp. Warden has 7 executions that recover 50hp (2 bars) The quickest of those is Blackstone Bash. Hope this helps. 🙂
I think Fresh Focus, Endurance and Devourer is a good set. Though for Arcade I'd swap Endurance for Shields Up. There isn't really a wrong set but some skills are better than others and some heroes benefit more from certain skills than others.
