      can I convert you to using fresh or home dried herbs? there really is no comparison. I'll see if I can make a jar for you later this summer.

      TheTimmeFamilyFarm oh absolutley! We never seem to use fresh quickly enough, so we’ve been doing the store bought jars, but would LOVE to buy some home dried herbs from you!

    i love how much seasoning you are using here. I feel very challenged to add more when I cook now lol I also like to add mushrooms, peppers and zucchini. I usually try to go for whatever I have on hand

    Thank you for your demo as I am gluten free. I was wondering about the gluten free pasta as if you over cook it it goes all guppie & horrible. I was quite glad when you said to cook the pasta separately as that only takes 8-10 mins to cook that sort of pasta. From Alison.

    I need to get myself one of those. I love Aldi, especially now. It’s the only supermarket I feel comfortable with. I wonder if they sell the same things in different countries x

      I’ll bet they have some different things, since at least in the States some products vary regionally

    oh and pleeeassss figure out the gluten free pasta in the instant pot!! this would be amazing as a true one dish meal, but like you I'm chicken to do the pasta in the instant pot - but at least you're working on it...i'm scared to even try it haha

      I know one of the keys is covering but not submerging it all the way. The few times I’ve done it half my pasta ends up soggy and overdone, and the other half is raw🤦🏼‍♀️. I’ll get it though, because I am all about one pot cooking

    Add few tablespoons of milk just after veggies and sauté all together! Significantly will improve and tenderize your meat:) you are welcome

    garlic in a jar is a sin, it is so preserved it does not give the garlic flavor. Always always use fresh garlic.

    50 minutes???

  • @CaboWabotv

    you gotta use fresh garlic, the jarred garlic is tasteless

  • @Mr.56Goldtop
    @Mr.56Goldtop Před 3 lety

    50 minutes seems a bit excessive. Instant Pot recommends only 15 minutes with their recepie. A lot of other IP recipes are 10 minutes with a natural release, for about 20 minute total cooking time under pressure. I reduce the white wine and then the milk just like a traditional stove top method, then under pressure for 20 minutes with a 5 minute natural release. The wine and milk are essential for giving the meat that silky Bolognese texture.

    • @sheteg1
      @sheteg1 Před 2 lety

      A bolognese takes 3 hours on the stove. So I don’t find the 50 minutes excessive.

    • @Mr.56Goldtop

      @@sheteg1 Yes, that's right. But I have made a Bolognese many times in my instant pot, and before I had one a regular pressure cooker. 20 minutes, then reduce on Saute Low to desired thickness, usually around 5 minutes. A regular meat sauce, 12 minutes.
