    Cheers for the video. Gives me a great idea for my recipe that I will tweak a little.
    Great shout on the tomato purée too. I was always told you need to cook/fry off tomato purée as it can be bitter. Who knows what’s right😂😂. Thanks again

      Hope you enjoy it Lee. Yes you're right re this cooking down tomato puree thing - I use Cirio brand and I honestly can't taste that bitterness. That could be me of course!

    What a lovely recipe, thanks Sue. I shall be making room in my freezer for a batch of that. I am the only one who eats lentils in my house and i often just make the ragu with lentils but i do have to admit i miss the taste of beef.

      Thanks Julie😊. It's a great one for the freezer - you can mess about with the proportions so more 50:50 etc until you get the best of both worlds for your particular preferences too.

    This was absolutely delicious! I followed the recipe “as-is” and it turned out great! If I were to make this without the lentils, would you suggest I change the amount of water added? Thank you.

      Hi Jennifer.Thank you so much. Yes you're right it would need less liquid. If I were to guess (and I always am!) , I'd probably drop down the combination of red wine and water to a total of about 400 to 450ml and see how that is. Better too runny than too thick to avoid the burn notice.

    I'm a simple italian and I'm wondered by only one thing in this whole video: why you put broccoli in the same plate of spaghetti? we never eat them with spaghetti al ragù, you really do?💔 Rather than this try the recipe of "pasta ai broccoli" or "orecchiette con cime di rapa"😋 But your ragù is really well made, and you let me know something new: puy lentils! Great!❣️

      Oh I totally know what you mean and you are so right, but for me I have to eat lots and lots of greens for health so they go on the side of nearly everything. I'm glad you like the lentil idea. Happy cooking :)

    Did u use the Instant pot for the linguini and brocolli as well?

      Hi there, no I just used it for this big batch of Ragu Sauce but what I do now is to freeze the Ragu into 'giant ice cubes' and then cook them up with the pasta in the Instant Pot. I use penne as it goes less squishy ;) If you haven't already seen that video this is the link: czcams.com/video/8m-RKpHKTzQ/video.html
      It's using the Ultimate Lid which I've since returned to the shop, but it works just as well in the Crisp. I hope that helps.
