Fantastic coverage!! I was in St Joseph when it hit. This shelf cloud aka wall cloud was dark and amazing to watch roll in. The only thing you can't tell from the video is the temperature change right on that line and the wind. Amazing stuff
What an angry and dark severe thunderstorm with destructive winds and heavy downpours and amazing shelf clouds for the arrival and approaching of the storm or storms. Mother Nature surely was probably upset that day. Awesome video catch on this severe thunderstorm here.
Man this footage is worth watching and sounds make it even more real . God Bless you .Thanks for posting this kinda weird storm love how it does the shelfs .
That's one hell of a dark sky moving in. There's a lot of colors people associate with strong t'storms; obviously that deep slate blue color is common, sometimes turning turquoise, green, purple both indicating intense precip/hail in the cloud, black which I think is often exaggerated. But one color I never hear describing a storm like this is brown. I've noticed storms are especially intense when that hue appears like at 2:37 along the shelf. Incredible whale's mouth underneath as well! Like the ripples of underside of a crashing wave.
What a frightening looking sky!😮. I would hunker down 1# feet underground seeing that scary sky. With my brave stuffed animals in hand for protection!!
The main things I remember about Missouri when I was at Ft Leonard Wood was the heat, the what seemed like lightning storms every night and tornadoes and the sheer humidity.
Where I live, thunderstorms usually occur in the afternoon and evening. But sometimes, they can also occur in the morning but ONLY when there is a powerful cyclone forecasted
It's weird.. In Oregon, where we don't get many storm's anymore but, when we did or do, we alway's know when the storm is over because it starts raining but here, the lightning came after the rain storm.. Fun storm.. 🤗
Looks like the camera used for recording this video has only one side of the microphone. You can only hear from the right while wearing headphones. It is better to check the video audio to make sure it records from two sides by either re-encoding the audio from mono into stereo or making sure in the future to test the audio source from the mic to enable stereo recording. Just a friendly advice.
I am 68 yrs. old and I have to say that I have never seen storm clouds like this before. I have lived in Ohio, Arizona and in the Philippines, in the Philippines I have been through a number of Typhoons, but never seen storm clouds like these. There has to be something going on in the atmosphere, I believe these storms are being "pulsed" to create such formations...........
Those are some menacing looking clouds at 2:30! Where is this place where you are filming? I mean the business or the building. A mean storm to say the least!

Love the sound of those crickets while that storm rolls in. Sounds so peaceful

That storm is terrifyingly beautiful. Good job on the footage. Awesome! Tks
Man I thought that was gonna be a horrible severe thunderstorm but it was just a lot of rain and some lightning and thunder

It's called a whales mouth after the shelf goes over you.

Awesome footage 💯
It looks like night time on the inside of that shelf cloud. Yipes!
Man I remember when living in Dallas meant we got to see beautiful storms like this every year. Now we never do
Where you at now?
I live in North West England and have never seen anything remotely as ominous as those clouds. Wow. Christine from Runcorn, England xx
This giant black cloud is impressive !
Wouldn't say it's black like from a 🌋 volcano eruption but it is a very dark gray ⛈️ storm cloud
I would get scared by such a cloud! hopefully, I won't experience a storm like this in my life in the future!
@@erikmorozov1740 No reason to be scare coz it just a Storm ⛈️ what would you do leave town if u experience this?

9:43 CLOSE LIGHTNING ENCOUNTER
The images are so surreal! It's as if my brain can't even handle the reality of it. I swear, it almost looks like CGI 😆
The main things I remember about Missouri when I was at Ft Leonard Wood was the heat, the what seemed like lightning storms every night and tornadoes and the sheer humidity.
OMG I have never seen clouds like this before?
This hit me first and it produced a tornado if this is the right storm and it almost got my best friend 😗💨
And this storm system reached us today! Awesome video-as always. You catch such amazing structures. Love the crickets and sound of rolling thunder.
I have never in my life seen a storm like that and I’m 63!!!
9:37.... That Lightning bolt... Wow...
dats a middle finger pointing down out of hate
My God how ominous is that sky looks
By far the best shelf cloud ever
U have some crazy storms in the USA. In Austria this never happens😮
Serious looking clouds, no wall cloud, no rotation, so no funnel cloud, no tornado!
I'm not surprised if a twister comes look how dark and ominous those clouds are
Worse is if you can't see it because it's rain wrapped obscuring the funnel. This is how it was during the Joplin tornado.
:-(
Strange how some of the most dangerous things on earth are some of the most beautiful things on earth. 😮
Wow those clouds look so dark yikes 😳😳😳
The first few minutes reminded me of the opening of Twister. All that's missing is the ominous cellos.
nice footage once again.
I LOVE watching storms roll in.
Wonderful video. ❤❤❤
❤❤
The breeze before the storm hits
Great Job TAOwens great shots of those shelf Clouds and Rain shafts! Not to much Thunder and Lightning!
I dont think i have ever seen clouds that dark of black...it almost looks like smoke lol
Now that is DEFINITELY scary to see in the morning, would’ve stayed in my basement if I saw that
Amazing thanks
Marvel mo you may whunt to take cover in case a tornado drops from those shelf clouds
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM!!!
Crazy
Man that shelf cloud looked Evil
scariest storm clouds i have ever seen 😮😮😮
Woah that sky looks evil.
When the clouds begin to darken, the residents already know that it is a hurricane on the way.😬😱 God forbid I have to go through this 😰🤯
Where I live, thunderstorms usually occur in the afternoon and evening. But sometimes, they can also occur in the morning but ONLY when there is a powerful cyclone forecasted
If I saw this in our skies I would think it is the end, scary 😮
Really the end of the world by a storm?
Great job and be careful with the storm
Wow‼️. That’s kinda scary look in the morning time.
Creepy friggin cold front. Yeesh!!!
As soon as I see that at 1:55 even from far off in the distance I would want lock myself into that container to be better safe than sorry.

Very nice footage.
That looks like a scene from a horror movie
That sky is pure horror.
If I lived in that part of the country, every time I saw even a single cloud, I would think TORNADO!

Where was this severe thunderstorm
It would be nice if the audio had two channels, not just the right channel.
Those are some menacing looking clouds at 2:30! Where is this place where you are filming? I mean the business or the building. A mean storm to say the least!
This is from Walmart's auto center where I work there with filming
You had some beautiful cloud formations, but there was hardly any lightning or thunder. That is what I watch these videos for.😢
