- What's up! You might know me as @dtphan on IG, but check out a sample video of me testing the Zhiyun Weebill S of @shihtake's NA1 NSX. More RAW footage after the short edited version. I still have more testing to do with this combination set up but it wasn't too bad. I did notice a little jittery moments here and there. Will be testing it out more in the future. Enjoy!

Gear used:
Zhiyun Weebill S: amzn.to/2FLHPt6
Sony A7iii: amzn.to/35MbWeA
Rokinon 35mm 1.4 AF: amzn.to/37Yocdx - Zábava
Was looking at this and the Ronin SC and I'm curious made you pick this one?
Tbh it was recommended by another cinematographer and after seeing their footage, I said why not lol. I'm sure either would be fine.
Oh I forgot to mention that the Zhiyun Weebill S has trouble connect to an external monitor if you use Sony.
@@DanhPhan what trouble?
@@AhmadKhanWOLF the external monitor doesn't get signal from hdmi out. i guess it's because the camera is already communicating with usb-c port to control the camera settings.
Does this gimbal has what it takes? on rolling shots with wind resistance?
Its actually not bad. Paired with a camera body that has IBIS and lens with IS, it should work really well even in windy conditions. Just need to practice with it before.
Danh Phan already tested it out honestly was afraid of the entire set-up breaking down or snapping. very surprised it held really well didnt even feel like it was breaking off, even though theres are slight jitters. probably due to imbalance from me using straps on the camera incase the gimbal broke to save my camera, but was really surprised it held well! my next try i will definitely use it confidently! thanks danh phan!
@@iz5442 I haven't tested what's the limit of the gimbal... not sure I want to lol. But I want to say safe is probably 50-60mph on flat highway roads. Also I hear you on the straps for safety.
Danh Phan i was cruising around 40-50mph. at night when the road is empty, haha!
@@iz5442 Actually, now that I think about it again to solve wind resistance issue is to shoot from a car/van/suv with a lift up style trunk or sliding doors on the side. With the NSX's, we were shooting out of a Lexus RX350 lol.
What does your setup look like?
aregal Sony A7iii and Rokinon 35 1.4 with Vario ND.
Danh Phan I was specifically meant to ask how you mounted the Weebill to the camera car
Whoops. It's Danh powered with me shooting from the rear hatch of an RX350 lol
