  • Going into this trip I hadn't heard too much about Natural Bridges National Monument other than seeing it on Google Maps when planning what roads to take on our journey west and noting that it would be worth the stop. When we got there the visitor center was closed but they had your typical NPS "trails" brochures out at the front door. We grabbed one then started planning our day when we learned that there's three natural bridges inside the canyons inside the park. Two bridges, Sipapu and Kachina, are inside of White Canyon and the other bridge, Owachomo is inside Armstrong Canyon.
All of the points of interest in the park are connected with a scenic drive loop. Along the loop you have trailheads for hiking trails that go down below each natural bridge. If you plan for it there's also a 12 mile loop trail where you hike the canyon to see all of the natural bridges and hike along the mesa top trails to get back to your vehicle, I would love to return and do this loop, there's a lot to see in those canyons I bet.
There is a campground inside the park (can't remember the price) and plenty of free camping in National Forest Land outside of the park boundary so you can easily spend a few days here if you want to take it slow and enjoy all of this park, it was quiet and we only saw a few people so this would be a great place to do it.
Thanks for watching, if you haven't already subscribe to our channel. Capitol Reef is coming up next!!! Hmmm, maybe I should have put that in the video...

I hiked the three bridges in Mid September 1992, loved the whole area, travelled from the UK.

I really wish we did the three Bridges hike in the canyon. If we make it back down that way I will for sure! Really nice park and it was crowded at all when we went, I bet even more so in the 90s!
      Thanks for watching

The bridges are awesome. Another place to add to my list of parks to visit.

It's well worth the drive. The hikes from the last video aren't very far from there either.

Great accessible hiking in Natural Bridges. The maintenance of the hiking trails was impressive. Stone steps and ladders to get down steep sections was awesome ((As this video pointed out)) ! The entire loop is magical.

    Great Video!
But I think you need to write and read a haiku for every hike.
    We need more self expression!

You're right, that last song is practically begging for a motivational narration done in a soft voice.
