This is my favorite ever episode. I identify so much with Carrie and her rationale. She is the best.
I knew someone that took a tag gun from her job (she worked in a clothes factory) and would put the tags back into the clothes after she wore it.
I just realized that Carrie asking Doug if he wants a Sony PlayStation for 7-30 days was a product placement, because this show was produced by Sony Pictures Television.
also nobody would say "Sony Playstation", but only "Playstation".
This is one show I would like to see a nostalgic reboot on.

I once myself had to return a dress. You see I don’t wear anything before prior washing so I got this dress and washed it and it was embroidered with bright joyful colors but since threads are made of cotton the colors smeared. 😱 Yes, turned to a cocktail. 😅 They accepted it back and I got another dress for same price.. no embroidery. 😑

Some people talk too much. All Doug had to say was, "They didn't fit". It was carries fault for not explaining correctly. I noticed she turned the shoe upside down, to make sure they had not been worn.
carrie didn't think that lady wasn't going to see for herself if the size is right or wrong but she did doug said exactly what carrie say it backfire on her
I always found it funny how Doug justified the return of the shoes. Typical sitcom logic. In real life you would have just said something like the shoes were a gift and the person didn't like them. The sales clerk would have had to accept that.

Not gonna happen. Some companies require that you fill out paperwork, with name, address, and phone number, and also ask to see your id. Come on. We know they are smart enough. It's a tv show. I know. I know.

I don't return stuff often, but no, I've never been asked.
As long as you have the recipe, the clothes is in obvious good condition (the condition you bought it and tag included), and returned within the required time, they really don’t ask or if they ask anything if it’s a size thing and if you’d like the same thing but different size or depending on the store when they give a refund, it’s in the form of a gift card ^^; so you still need to buy something from the store.
I've always been asked. Usually I just say it was a gift and the receiver didn't like it so they don't ask me to pick something else lol
Yes, some stores do ask you why. It could be policy. But, I doubt the answer would determine whether or not you get a refund. It's probably just protocol.
