Why does almost everyone say that Carrie is wrong? She is right! Have you ever heard of customer service? In the beginning, she told the waiter that she didn't want capers in her pasta, she said it in a very friendly tone. A good waiter would have just accepted that, apologized and corrected the order, especially in a fancy restaurant. Instead, he starts arguing with her and telling her that the order didn't say she didn't want capers. Totally unnecessary, why does he even start arguing with her? And then he tops it all off by audibly sighing which was just inappropriate.

Yeah maybe in Russia or n Korea where ppl don’t have traditional human rights or freedoms that might make sense, additionally, the beginning is when the food is ordered, not when the food arrives at the table. Is it possible Carrie didn’t want capers & forgot to say that when ordering? Is it possible the waiter ordered it with no capers but the dish was prepared with capers anyway? The waiter did nothing wrong. When he said "I change your order" he just meant he'll get her what she wants. English is clearly not his native language, but Carrie made some big deal out of semantics to be "right"
She was more interested in being right, getting an apology than getting her food. People like her are the worst.

If you watch the entire episode, Carrie goes back to the restaurant at the end to apologize and make amends to the staff and owner and we see the waiter just doesn’t like her.

I would say Carrie , because she had a sore attitude even before marriage , while Debra actually used to be nicer before marrying Ray and dealing with his family not respecting her boundaries lol.

There’s a scene in this episode where Carrie’s says “there’s never been a time I didn’t support you”.. because she stated that they were never going back to that specific restaurant again. However, there’s another episode where Doug took a stand on not liking a guy who said he licked the trash can and carrie didn’t take his side. Sometimes I really hate her character because she’s a hypocrite. Yes, Doug can be a douche sometimes but still..

That's true. Plus, in that episode, Doug listed off the "enemies" Carrie has (in other words, people Carrie doesn't like for small reasons) and even said he's backed her up more than once

Her initial complaint was legit. Her handling of it was terrible. She could've at least tried to be diplomatic for Doug's sake, since he seemed to love the place so much.
Doug, on the other hand, should've kept quiet. She was being ridiculous but he shouldn't dismiss her concerns and side against her in order to stay in good with the owner. Should've just let her fight that battle alone.

it never is shown whether she actually said it or not. It's left a mystery to the audience XD
