- Join me on a walk through the Spring Equinox, Alban Eilir to the Druids, Ostara to the Wiccans, and celebrated in pretty much the same way by all Pagans these days as one system or path has melted into another. As part of the Wheel of the Year invented in the early 19th century by Gerald Gardner and Ross Kelly, the wheel does have a great purpose and significance, giving us a time to celebrate and connect with the earth and it's energies. Hola! What a great video for Spring inspiration! Thank-you. I am listening on Sunday, the 17th, and my Almanac says that today & tomorrow are Grand days for planting seeds, so I am out to plant and GROW this Spring! For the Equinox I will make deviled eggs and sweet buns, and take some of each to my Big Mama Medicine Wheel and leave them on my East Altar there for Sophia/Gaia and all of Hers to enjoy. I love that Her Ways are becoming talked about in a widespread Way now. Thanks again for your love and attention to Her! Namaste
You day sounds wonderful making special foods for the Equinox. I loved devilled eggs. I agree with you about Gaia or Mother Earth becoming more widespread amongst people. Not everyone wishes to work with a Goddess or God, but are very happy to tune into the earth and work with those energies. Much love and light, C xxx
CZcams got it right with this recommendation. I listened whilst spring cleaning and sorting kids toys. I can feel the energies changing and have been in full swing this week cleaning and rearranging. I don’t personally look to any gods or goddesses at this time of year as I believe spring has its own spirit to communicate with. I was busy in january and february planting bulbs for spring and some are already in bloom. Blessed be!

I don't envy you with the kids toys, I remember those days of the track between a door and the bed and never seeing the carpet! Many of the listeners to the podcast are like you and don't associate Spring with anything more than the symbolism and energy, which is great. Lovely clips and images you share in your videos! 😃 One of my Ostara practices as a solitary pagan is simply to contemplate all the strength and fertility of nature knowing that I too am an animal. I also during that season I pray for nature and specially for all the persons that protect nature while I do my part on that matter.
