Thanks for checking it out! Glad I could help - I promise it's not that blurry when you do it on your phone. For some reason even though I film in 1080, my videos seem to upload more blurry than that.
great vid! seems much easier than what i was doing lol. I just had a shade 10 in front of the camera lens but it was still kinda crappy...hopefully this works better! Maybe ill try the shade in front and use your technique and see what happens.. who knows might work!
What’s wrong with us ? Sometimes , especially if you are solo sailing on a ship or boat for example, you don’t have anyone on the ship to rescue except yourself, so you don’t have to be over- the - top stoic and go down with your own sailing ship! Bail out while you can ! In other words why do we feel we have to pay our dues as welders and use conventional self darkening glass in our welding helmets then end up barely being able to see anything in focus without glasses or tearing up all the time because of eye damage introduced by exposure to extreme energy light from welding even with very dark self darkening glass ? The flash and exposure still gets you after awhile! Use the cellphone camera, even for the solar eclipse - use the cellphone/ digital camera to artificially see for you instead of your own eyes .
that is incredible dude Thank you so much

I’ve read that the image sensor can be damaged without a filter to protect against the massive UV from the arc.
Thanks for the heads up. I haven't had an issue, but that's good to consider.
Merci
