The reason CZcams is so messed up is the trending tab is full of the worst content ever created.. meanwhile I have to search out quality content like this. Thank you for this. I just subscribed and now I'm off to fix my z wobble.
Excellent information, outstanding delivery. You have excellent pacing, a great voice (very clear and pleasant to hear), and the information was concise + helpful + clearly well informed. I will be coming back to your channel any time my printers act up.
This was a great video. No annoying background music. No non-stop super fast speaking. No cutting every 2 seconds. Just you explaining your topic to the viewer. In great well paced detail i might add. I wish more content creators would follow your example. Though i guess they will hemorrhage tiktok addicted viewers with limited attention spans but content creators like yourself should not need to worry about that. You earned a new subscriber.
It would be great to see more videos from you! I think you have a great voice and personality for this. Plus, your information is always immensely helpful 😊
Interesting, but not a complete diagnosis. Sometimes z banding can be caused by humidity affecting the filament. Where it is exposed on the roll just on one side to a humid environment for a few days between prints. Or could be the filament itself having the issue. I buy the same filament twice and often find the second time, they've completely changed the quality. Amazon does this all the time. The sellers build up good reviews, then change products to something far cheaper and trade off the back of all the good reviews.
I whised every video would be as informative like yours. I dont care about the quality i just need information. and you brought it to the table like no one else. Going to check my printer now!
i mean u could always fix the z band problem as whole? just replace leadscrews with belts with high gear ration :) no more dependency on straightness of z screws and u can also have printer autoallign x gantry with them if u have dual motor z belt mod :)
ive been having this problem but mine is a weird case. lets say I have a cube and a hole in the middle. now the strange part is that the z banding starts and ends at the top and bottom of the hole in the rest of the cube prints just totally fine
Ball skew is over kill and is not needed useful it will properly give more artifacts, as it will be a component that's stronger than the frame it self therefor they will bend and warp the whole thing on a budget printer and the printer need to be setup right in any chase to deliver results anyway meaning correctly put to gather meaning adjusted and fine tuned no matter what the price range .
Good advice, I was curious about this fault on my printer. It seems weird that Elegoo wants the top Z axis mounting hardware to be loose! Looks like a half stupid way of coping with Z wobble.
I knew it because I'm having that issue on my CR10 V3 where the lead screw was not square enough and still not because I hadn't time to finish to fix it. Thx
what if it's very very slight, like you can't even feel it on the prints you just see like a slight discoloration but it's perfect horizontal lines like that in the same place every print, but it's on a core xy printer?
I need major help with me ender 3 v3 se. I can send some pics of my banding, i believe i am new to printing only about a month. I get great first layers but on the walls i have lines that look like steps. Now the first 20 or so print perfect then all of a sudden not so perfect
No worries. I get this question from time to time. I haven't raised crayfish in a while, but all my aquarium content is on my 2nd channel, "profiles aquatica"
This is not just a 'budget' printer problem.

I could never get a brass nut that was tight.
So I finally went to a linear rail belt drive for the Z.
Glad I did.

Thank you so much! Very clearly explained and great camera work :3
Great video. I didn't know how to describe the artifacts on my prints. It is Z BANDING! Thanks to your video, now have a plan to resolve the issue
Excellent video, I've seen a lot of videos addressing this issue, but most only talk about addressing the top of the lead screw or bent lead screws.
I only have slight Z banding and have been looking at the Wobble X device to fix this issue, it seems to be a very clever device!
Excellent video! Straight to point with super explanations and great camera work as well.

Awesome video, have been trying to cure dual z ender 3 problems for ages, thanks

Keep up the good work. Very intuitive and TO THE POINT. Great video friend.
Nice video, straight to the point and good examples.
What would it take to talk you into re-narrating all the audio books I have? At least you need to make a video about how to make videos.
Great video, i learn something new every day.
Very clear & concise explanation. Kudos.

you are a wizard =, to the point right out the gate, explanation, and fix
I knew it because I'm having that issue on my CR10 V3 where the lead screw was not square enough and still not because I hadn't time to finish to fix it. Thx
I had something similar on my KP3S. It turned out that the Z axis motor had a bent shaft.
Another very common is the bending of the lead screw.
Mine looks similar but it’s very inconsistent and different. I have a creality k1 max and it’s got 3 lead screws
How do you feel about the Belt Drive Z Axis mod? In theory, it should also mitigate Z-banding, right?
what if it's very very slight, like you can't even feel it on the prints you just see like a slight discoloration but it's perfect horizontal lines like that in the same place every print, but it's on a core xy printer?
This video is great, thank you
Thank you so much!
I’m having something similar to z banding but the lead screw isn’t wobbling so I don’t think it’s z wobble anyone have any ideas ?
great topic, thanks 👍
does this happen if i’m printing on a wobbly desk (ender 3 max neo)
thakns bro,really thanks🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

voce tem meu like! e minha inscrição.
Great explanation thank you!
Great video but please work on the audio, even just paying some dude on 5iver $10 to remove the white noise…
Great video! Thank you!
My man great video, but if I may, it gets tiring/annoying the noise on your mic, it's beyond normal. Thnks, take care
how would you fix the non 90 degree x gantry mount
Does this apply to z wobble with linear rails?
Yes
Random question but are you still raising crayfish?
No worries. I get this question from time to time.
I haven't raised crayfish in a while, but all my aquarium content is on my 2nd channel, "profiles aquatica"
z banding or z binding??😂
