    Don’t get the drill rotor. Get the slotted rotor instead. It offers a much better performance. Drill rotor just vent heat onto the brake pad instead of cooling them. Slotted rotor offers better surface area for the pads to bite down on while the slotted keep the pads fresh by shaving off the hot brake material allowing fresh material to grip the rotor surface. And don’t get the rotor with too many slotted on them as that will just take of way too much material and not enough surface to clamp down on. The slot just does one job and that’s taking of dirty material allowing the pads to get a good bite on the rotor surface.

    I just got me a set of front brakeperformance slotted rotor from them today and had it installed on my suv on my front yard. Took it to a long stretch of road away from other vehicles and did the break-in cycle. I gotta say that it's definitely a huge improvement with the stopping power. My suv stops shorter and quicker than I expected. My vehicle stopped with just 20 mph left on the speedometer, which was pretty awesome. Before that, my vehicle would still be rolling til my speedometer reaches zero. Now, it just stops completely with 20 mph left on the speedometer. I didn't even have to keep my foot on the brake pedal as much, and it stopped much shorter than I expected. That is what I want in performance. Quicker stop and shorter distance to bring my 4000 lb vehicle to a complete stop. My stock front rotor couldn't even do that, and I had to keep my foot pressing down hard for it to come to a complete stop.

    I agree, I think it is the toxic mucus that causes problems. A lot of people spread other information, such as that they bite the shrimp like leeches, which I think is wrong. Most likely, planarians are toxic to avoid predation, but by accident this toxin causes deaths of innocent animals when in an enclosed environment.

  • @MrDanDizz
    @MrDanDizz Před 9 dny

    The main reason of enclosure is to ventilate VOCs and UFPs since it should be a higher concern than just shielding the printer from dust.

    I tell you why this is a bad idea: Bed expansion when heated. With a small bed and low (PLA) bed temperatures it might be small enough change. But try 100C bed and let it heat soak for an hour before you probe it... The bed may bow and raise up in the middle. Although i guess these bolts will bend outward a bit under that force too...

  • @SianaGearz

    This is approximately how i do the bed in these last few years. The bed is jammed between the screw head and a washer+nut, and the bed carrier is jammed between two 3D printed flat wheel nuts, barely thicker than the nut they're carrying, large enough diameter to protrude well outside the carrier. I have not had any movement in there, the nuts on the bed are not trying to unscrew themselves and the wheel nuts are well locked against the carrier, no movement there either. The two wheel nuts are same size so it's really easy to adjust, but then, i don't rebuild the machine nearly frequently enough for that to be necessary. You don't need to buy wing nuts, you have machine nuts anyway, just print thumbwheels for them to sit in, you have a 3D printer. I had wingnuts and i plain don't like them. I don't use the second nut (jam nut) under the bed. Next time i rebuild everything i might put a drop of blue thread locker in there but so far i have not seen any indication that it's necessary to secure it, it is after all jammed hard against the washer on the bed, fundamentally just like jam nuts. I have not seen prior examples of this not that i can consciously remember, i just thought springs were completely dumb. My 3D printer is DIY from before Ender era and uses the classic Prusa design bed so i have M3 screws not M4, i think them being more flexible is actually an advantage of sorts.

    Mines crystal clear also but if you test it you will have high iron or other chemicals that depending what fish you have could be great or bad.. I have cichlid’s and high hardness and some iron is what they love so I don’t even treat it at all . But for other fish that would kill them. Either way this dudes well is fucking broken .. even after a storm it should be perfect.

    What is the part number for that non-brass piece you add at the end? The one with the threads on the outside and inside of the pipe that you're using to mount that extension insert inside the top section of the Tee fitting. I do not see it in your parts list. Neither is the ball valve you used between the hose and the gravel vacuum end. That inner insert itself is LFA-786, yes? From the lack of any follow-up videos, is it safe to assume you were never able to crack the suction part? That's a shame. It's pretty useless without the suction action. You can skip the $55 worth of brass and just run a straight hose from the faucet to the tank if all you want to do is fill. The entire utility of the Python's clean and fill valve is in the suction action. Any plain old garden hose can handle the fill part just fine.

    Something to keep in mind when replacing my belts, thou mine has adjustment nobs for adjusting tension so i probably would not need to worry about being perfectly precise with the zip tie part. Id probably buy the belts made specifically for my printer. I use a kobra 2 neo.
