lets be real, Multi Tank Syndrome is SERIOUS đ
Over the past couple years I quickly amassed A LOT of tanks and I don't think I realized how much time and energy it was consuming.
Recently I have been making some life changes along with taking on a new position at work and I had to sit down and ask myself was I burnt out or overwhelmed? I noticed I wasn't uploading as much, I didn't feel that same spark, overall it felt strange. One day I was waking up early to do some tank maintenance and before I could start in my head was the quote from MD saying "if you don't truly LOVE the tank you wont care about it as much"
I noticed the increased algae, the time between water changes was increasing, things were becoming the typical "ill do it next week" curse.
So I said to myself NO MORE. I want to focus on the big aquascapes I take time to plan and take time to appreciate. I want more quality than quantity.

Very well said my friend! Particularly when you said "Admit to ourselves when we've gone a bit too far", we all want all the tanks but we don't realize what we're setting ourselves up for. We're setting ourselves up to be overwhelmed and NOTING leads to burn out faster!
I feel like it happens to anyone in any hobby. We get so excited about whatever we are passionate about, and it clouds our minds to the point that we dont realize when we are going too far. And just like you said in your video, it leads to people completely abandoning a hobby that originally brought them happiness....

I remember when you got Daphne! You showed me pictures on your phone and you being you when you're passionate about something, had a huge smile on your face and were so animated about it.
