BEGINNERS dream AQUARIUM! Watch how I built it in just a few SIMPLE STEPS!

- I thought I'd build a very simple aquarium, really not complicating anything. Ideal for beginners, my first aquariums. Just one type of plant, a bit of substrate, and a large rock. You can easily make it at home. Of course, you don't need this level of technical equipment, but these were available to me. A regular aquarium and a simpler light are fine. I strongly recommend a filter and a CO2 kit. The CO2 dosing is necessary for the carpeting plant to beautifully cover the aquarium. If you like it, build your own!

just that tank, that light, and co2 are things most "beginners" wouldn't want to spend money on.
I generally do extremely cheap builds but I've recently explored a few more "fancier items" and you really do get what you pay for.
But i think by "Beginner" in this situation he's talking about the actual aquascape style more so than the gear 🙂
It's a beginner with budget
I think he's speaking in terms of ease of assembly and faster results. It's also easier to maintain.
Aquascaping and fish keeping in general tbh, is a luxury. So expect to shell out some money if you want things to look good
That light and C02 system are not expensive. I paid a hell of a lot more for my first scape equipment 8 years ago. The tank isn't expensive either. Off brand opticlear.
@@psy_99Couldn't agree more though I do think it's a relaxing past time so worth the money if that's your thing.
So beautiful! I’m so happy whenever you post a new video! And the electric shaver was genius!
Thank you for this video, I’ve kept aquariums for a while but have always stayed away from adding any plants. Really like the simplicity of that set up, will definitely give it a try.
I really like the old sewing machine stand you used for this one.
They are such amazing old pieces of equipment.
Thanks!🤩
I always relax while watching your videos. The music is great, the aquariums are beautiful.
Greetings from Poland 🙂
Thanks for the feedback mate. I appreciate it!
Well done… the setup and the video 😃
looks amazing as always
How beautiful. I love it!
I love how that orange lighting effect behind the tank really makes the minimalist layout pop!
Thanks! Its a godox tl30 light 💡
@@TheCineScaper Thanks for the information!
Damn that water's clearer than my future
Très belle réalisation, merci pour la vidéo!
I love this beautiful minimalist look. Less is more.
Beautifully done 👍
Simple but awesome...thanks for sharing
Perfect video, perfect tank setup, perfect music, that's what I call THE relax aquascaping!
Thank you! :)
Simple and beautiful. I love it! Great tank.
Thanks🙌
I absolutely love the simplicity of this tank 🦐
Beginner lol
Ikr hahaha😅
Indeed, huhu haha
I was just motivated !!!!!!!!!!! SO Cool looking !!!!
Well done man, it's beautiful, and your video quality is outstanding
What really makes the look is the orange light bar in the background
this is absolutely amazing.
Love this, thank you 🙏🏼
It's just Beautiful ❤️
Your video gives me chills. Thank you!🎉
This video is inspiring me to do something simple on my next go at a tank. Also, I love the music you choose for all your videos.
🙌
the more simpler it's harder in a way to make it look pleasing
Man you're a GENIUS with that electric shaver - if I decide to go for an iwagumi style build like that, I'm gonna have to remember that trick for sure.
Very beautifule aquarium, and video, music and life in the aquarium😊
Beautiful! 💯
this should get a million views. great video man, high quality. top notch
Great simple steps
shrimp moment with unsheathe blade sound was awesome :D
Great video as always
Stone is beautiful! Hairgrass is underrated
once u added co2 its not beginner upkeep anymore. Plenty channels offer real beginner strategies that dont require co2. This isn't about money at all. Us beginners dont know the levels it need to be set to, how often to change, nothing, just drop it in.
i hope you get a manscaped sponsorship with that underwater grass trimmer technique.
Amazing, beautifull and awesome❤
Beautiful 😍
So relaxing watching this video
I chuckled at the shaver, Beautiful simplistic tank
😅🥰
Looks great!
Thanks!
Simple and nice. Very nice !!!
🙏
Good one dude!!!
I am really impressed about this content n your talent 😊
Thanks mate!
This is a thing of great beauty
This is great not so much as INFORMATIVE. But it gave me the confidence that I could re visit once again having my own aquarium . .
My man out here building an Aquarium with that epic ambient music
Joy to watch.
You have an artistic sense. One of your videos makes me want to set up a nano aquarium :)

Nice and easy… you should make more content for your channel. Thank you for sharing your work 😎

Perfectly 👌
Great video as always dude. Well produced well thought out, brilliant angles and lighting - and well edited. Perfect guidance for just starting out.
Thanks a ton mate!🙏
Watching this video was an Immersive experience for me.
Thank you! 🙌
very lovely, its perfect i am going to build the same
Best scape mustache ever😂
🤓
it's look amazing scape, i need to try this. nice bro ;)
Thanks!
production quality is sooooooo good
Thanks!🙏
Australian rock theme, i like it ❤
Very Good Job ! Greetings From Marseilles France !
Thanks!
So you have orange shrimp, amano shrimp, crayfish and tetra in this build? Trying to keep track of everyone! I love it
Love your scapes. For those who don't have that budget for that equipment you can get away with much cheaper stuff and you don't need the co2 or the expensive growing medium. Clean, chemical free outdoor soil sifted, will be just fine. Plus, it gives your tank a lot of beneficial bacteria's and balance.
Yes.
Yes it is❤
Beautiful tank! Glad you switched to tap water. Try feeding every other day, less waste and less algae. It's not massive bio load, but why not.
Cheers.
UUU I LIKE THIS!
The best simple iwagumi
loved the video, especially my cat
at 8:10 just before seeing the logo on the shaver, I was thinking this was a segway to a ManScaped lawn mower Ad haha
I always feel a bit sorry for fish when they've got no where to hide. I guess that's why all of my tanks have at least a densely planted corner but usually end up becoming a full jungle.
I agree with you. I also prefer more jungle-like aquariums. Fish seem to be doing well at first glance, although I can't ask them for confirmation :)
@@TheCineScaper chatting with your fish is often overlooked, despite it being such a crucial element of the hobby.
Nice video, It's been too long since your last one 👍🐟
Awesome setup❤️ I want to make it as same
Beautiful minimalistic setup!!! What kind of lighting did you use?
Don't mind if I kind of clone your idea???
beautiful! ❤ what models are the equipments that you show us in the beginning of the video? where can i buy them?! I really wanna start to build my aquarium! Thanks😊
Hello bro can u tell me what it’s called to the grey rubber which u connecting to the out put of Lilly pipe..?
The tank looks beautiful and the simplicity is very peaceful.
But I think if you try to just observe the fish it is not good to place it in such short hight.
When looking up from below the light is very distractive and to bend over and look from above is too uncomfortable and hard to see the fish.
If youare a beginner, low budget or just have the same issues i mentioned, get a submergable light and place it right on the water line. The light will not distract you from observing and relaxing and it wont look poorif you get a decent one.
Also in such a big tank a cheap 300l/h filter would look chunky as well, you dont need to have that exact same filter.
The key to a pretty aquarium is whats behind the aquarium, dark colors in the back make it easier to see the fish and plants and rocks, also gives them a contrast color so they are very vibrant.
Can you leave a link to the equipment you used? The light and the CO2 system. Thanks
this masterpiece needs to be on national geography
I realy like how your videos Look!
🙏
Nice 💪
🙌
do u need co2 for this build and new it and wanna make a planted one
5:03, where to find that tool to refill the tank slowly and causing the tank murky?
Hi, I also have the fluval 207. Could you please tell the in and outflow pipe names that you use. I want to change my inlet and outlet but I can’t find any product compatible with the hoses of the 207. Which brand are the metal inlet and the glass outlet? Nice setup by the way :)
Woow this video is awesome 🙌. Huge applause. In the last few years I stepped away from aquascaping but your video is so inspiring that I actually thinking of getting back to this awesome hobby. By the way nem láttam magyar kommenteket, de ha jól sejtem te is magyar vagy 😅😁
Igen, magyar vagyok! Köszi a visszajelzést, örülök, ha ismét beleveted magad a hobbiba! :)
This is a beautiful Scape.
However, this only looks basic. The light intensity and fertilization needed for such a grass carpet will make algae bloom in the hands of a beginner aquarist. This is actually a quite difficult tank to run successfully, as most iwagumi tanks. I'd advice beginners to start with a walstad method instead.
Research before investing and starting is king.
Thanks! I also don't like dealing with issues, which is why I'm showcasing this aquarium. It's really not difficult to maintain. In fact, it's the simplest. No need to fertilize for a while due to the substrate. I change a bit of water weekly, and it operates smoothly with minimal algae.
beginers not always understad about water parameters, light intensity, balance between live stock and plant. many friend of mine ended giving up after tying walstad. many still trying but spend a lot in plants due to melting. its a same spending if u into the hobby. in the end u need proper gear.
plz send the link to buy plants.....im not able to find it in amazon
Do you have a video on how to clean the aquarium? I am planning of getting one and would like to have the natural plants as well. How do you clean the water with the substrate?
Where I can buy this equipment? I like this lamp hanging gear and this filter like a metal pipe is amazing!
Can anyone link to that CO2 regulator he is using on that soda stream bottle. I've been looking for something exactly like that!
Do you have to wait 2 months for the total growth of the plants to add the fish, or can they be added during the growth? Thank you very much and excellent video, one more subscriber👏🏻
Nice tank. I don't know about the Co2 - do I really need that?
Friend.... your videos are sooooooo good.....boah.... the production, the editing, the content... I wish you would publish videos more often, it is very difficult to find someone who publishes Aquaristic videos or Aquascape videos with such a high level of creativity, production and quality like yours
In fact... there is a contest on the Fluval CZcams Channel, in which you must choose which Fluval Video you think was the best of the year 2023... and I was very clear about it from the beginning, the video of the new UV lamp system for FX filters... as I wrote on the Fluval Channel, for me it is the best presentation video of a Fluval product that that brand has made... I don't know if you know which video I meant 😅
Of course I'm going to copy your great Scape... my only question is whether I'll put a black film or a white film on the rear glass 😅
Have a very nice day
Greetings from Germany.
Thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate it!
may i do this without use co2?just use air bubble for the plant
Whats the name of the Razor? Does it still work?
Where did u buy this rock? I can’t find an identical version of this rock on the internet
Okay so I have a really heavily planted 20 gallon and the maintenance is annoying so I was going to ask this. I want to copy this idea but put the soil shallow front and deeper toward the back. One big stone. But my question is are there any plants you suggested that could be a little different as points of interest that wouldn't be a trimming nightmare or standout too much and ruin the simplicity of this design?
Anyone know the song with the bells and female vocals ? so good
I love the emperor tetras. But do they like the iwagumi?
Wow nice video. Somple as you said.❤Can you share a link of the two types of soil you used? What are they by the way?
Thanks! Tropica products
Can please give me the links of the equipments used
How is there that orange light on the bottom half of the tank?
Hey man, such a beautiful Auquscape. One week ago, I set up my first tank with only Monte Carlo using the "dry start method" to build a carpet. In this video, I noticed you are using Chihirios light; I am also using the same, slim varient. Can you confirm which adjustments or numbers I use for better growth? Since last week, I have been using Manul Green option. Also, for how many hours should I be on the light?
Hi! I'm glad you built your first aquarium! I usually set it to 6000-6500 kelvin, slightly emphasizing the red color, which is good for the plants. I typically light it for an average of 8 hours a day.
@@TheCineScaper Thanks for your reply buddy!! Can you please give me exact numbers of red, green and blue under manual section, so that i can adjust?
