  • I have performed over 20,000 decompression visits over the past 15 years and NSSD - Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression is a Highly Successful Treatment that works extremely well for people suffering with pain from Bulging Discs, Herniated Disc, Sciatica, Chronic Neck & Back Pain, Degenerative Disc Disease, Spinal Stenosis as well.
Not everyone is a candidate for this treatment and we thoroughly examine patients to be sure they are good fit for our office and treatment.
There are no drugs, injections, surgery, downtime and the treatment is very comfortable. Most patients literally fall asleep during treatment.

    OMG, thanks for your message.
    Great you're improving.
I'm seeing the back specialist soon.
I want to go this route, the DRX9000 after about 20 years of palliatives "at the PCPs pleasure".
Have no idea of the cost but I hope it is more affordable than surgery and more affordable than Spine Zone ($$$.$$🙄😬) though the therapy has helped me do limited distance walking.
I want my life back! And I'm tired of my back pain, discomfort of 3 bulging lumbar disks, all at incompetent, insurance minded PCPs.

I understand that many have been helped with this type of treatment but I also understand it may not be for everyone and it is important to understand what type of pain the patient has at the time. I told the chiropractor that I had sharp pains and muscle spasms with certain movements and he recommended the spinemed machine which he said can sense a spasm and then adjust back accordingly. Well after my first treatment I could barley get up and move the next morning as I was having constant spasms and it took awhile for my back to calm down. According to Dr McGill we need to be careful in the approach to treatment when there is spine instability as there can be soft tissue damage as well which can only cause more pain when stretched. I am afraid to get anymore treatments now.

@bendossantos783, I appreciate your perspective and your experience with the Spinemed machine. You've highlighted an essential point about the importance of tailoring treatments to individual patients and their specific conditions.
You're absolutely right; not every treatment is suitable for everyone, and the initial settings for a first treatment on NSSD are crucial. Sometimes, people may experience reactions like the one you described, but it doesn't necessarily mean that NSSD isn't the correct treatment option for them. Our bodies can respond differently to various therapies, and sometimes it takes time to find the right approach that suits your unique needs.
Dr. McGill's emphasis on being cautious in the approach to treatment, especially when there is spine instability, is well-founded. It's essential to consider the potential for soft tissue damage and the possibility of exacerbating pain when stretching. Your apprehension about further treatments is completely understandable, and it's crucial to have open and transparent communication with your healthcare provider to address your concerns and explore alternative options that may better suit your condition.
Ultimately, the goal is to find a treatment plan that is effective and comfortable for you. Your well-being and comfort are paramount, and any treatment should be approached with care and consideration for your individual circumstances.

My back has been out for a couple of months now and decompression therapy is the only thing that seems to work.

IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY THIS WORLD IS ALL ABOUT THAT.

@yoyo8303, your comment raises an interesting point about the financial aspects of healthcare, and it's indeed a topic that can be quite complex. It's important to recognize that providing healthcare services, including treatments like NSSD, involves various costs, including equipment, expertise, and operational expenses.
It's true that the world operates with financial considerations, and healthcare services are no exception. While the idea of free treatment for all is admirable, it's essential to strike a balance between providing quality care and sustaining the healthcare system itself. In order to maintain high standards of care, there needs to be an appropriate exchange, often in the form of fees for services rendered.
If you have specific suggestions or concerns about the pricing of healthcare services, it might be valuable to discuss them further. It's essential for healthcare providers to listen to feedback from patients and the community to ensure that services remain accessible and equitable. If you have any specific ideas or questions regarding the cost of healthcare or payment options, please feel free to share, and we can explore them together.

When I see actual MRI proof that disc height has increased and disc bulging his resolved, I will believe it. All this really is is very expensive intermittent traction.

@@TheDoctorboelk "saved from surgery" ? instead it requires many visits and much money for temporary relief at best?
