    Dr. Cantor,
I'm literally in tears while watching your video. I also watched your other video entitled "Deep Dive into Cervical Spinal Stenosis", and I have to say that both of these videos by far are the most educational presentations I have seen online and even on TV. I've searched high and low for materials such as yours because I have been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis. You eloquently described the conditions, treatments, and surgical procedures in layman's terminology.
I had cervical spinal decompression and fusion surgery almost 2 months ago in August on C5-C6 and C6-C7 and a structural support implant from C5-C7. Initially, after the surgery, much of my symptoms (tingling, needles poking at both arms, constant electrical shocks on both arms, and some of the neck pain) went away. Almost 2 months later the symptoms have returned, I would say to about 50% of what they were. The neck pain (nerve pinch) on the left side has returned back, and I would say even more prevalent than before. I can deal with the tingling sensations but the pain is so prevalent that I have to keep my head stooped constantly and adjusting and stretching to find a comfortable position-which I can never seem to find. Sleep is an illusive animal and the lack of it has eroded my morale and productivity.
Your presentations have convinced me to reach out to you and your staff because I felt like there were no other options. I am looking forward to talking to you or one of your staff members.
Please continue producing more informational videos. I am sure you will be touching many more lives-many of whom may be like me who are desperate to find help for their spinal conditions. KUDOS TO YOU AND YOUR STAFF!

Good luck! I am facing multi level surgery, which scares me now that i've seen the Doc's videos. The fact that you have had a return of symptoms, leaves me feeling like i will live forever in pain. You see, without any intervention yet, i already have permanent headaches, inability to rest peacefully, intermittent sleep, loss of feel and function. Fine motor skills are failing rapidly. I’m a doctor. This is an excellent and accurate presentation. Here is my unsolicited opinion. I’ve had cervical stenosis requiring surgery for worsening bilateral pain, numbness and weakness in my arms. Treatment 7yrs ago correctly used traditional surgical fusion at C5/6 with a bone transplant, carbon fibre staple and removal of bony spurs using surgery from the front of the neck. It’s been very successful with complete removal of pain and most numbness, although not all my muscular power returned (don’t leave seeing a specialist too late…). I’m at risk of needing further surgery - not yet, but possible. Further traditional surgery would be more difficult, less likely to be successful and more likely to involve damage to my spinal cord, nerves and other structures such as my oesophagus (I’m English 🤣 and it means eating tube). This ultrasonic technique solves this worry for me. If I need further surgery, I will aim to opt for ultrasonic techniques if that’s suitable in my case (it likely will be).

Only profession in which reimbursement has been steadily decreasing while cost of living keeps increasing ... No other business or institution works on these flawed financials... Toyota was 10K in 1990 and physician reimbursement per new consult was $250 ... Now Corolla is 40K and reimbursement is $ 118... Four fold increase in cost of car .. based on that reimbursement would be 750 to 1000 instead it's gone down like Corolla then should now be selling for 2.5 K ...

believe that was an unfair comparison. The medical system in this country is getting more and more corrupt. I am a victim of the toxicity and mold of breast implants (yet I didn’t find out why I had to retire early from my teaching career because my brain wasn’t working, and the Sjogren’s I developed ulcerated my eyes so badly, I couldn’t read (not good for a ha English teacher!). All I heard from doctors was “It’s NOT the implants! They are saline!”, when I went to the ER because I couldn’t breathe. But what came out of me 2 months later, would make you gag!
I lost SO MUCH ( like family, relationships, MONEY for out of pocket treatments and counseling) and 5 years after my last surgery to explant (where I contracted pseudomonas aeriginosa, and no one would believe me although the pain was indescribable, until my incision festered.) I am still not well. Now Lyme Coinfections have manifested from my weakened immune system, and I live with having had a stroke that affected my sleep cycles, and the pain is horrible.
This is what I get for believing in the medical system 20 years ago!
I’m on Medicare and my teacher’s pension supplement, but I wish functional medicine, Chinese medicine, and massages were available to everyone.
PS, my adult, now disabled, son, whobhad the “vaccine injury”, Covid 3 times, long Covid now, terrible cervical instability that is the root cause (key word) of his unbearable headaches he’s had for 16 months, body pain, and mast cell activation. We cntvtakevhim to a regular hospital around us becyou can say “Lyme” in a hospital… It’s like saying “bomb” in an airport!
Think about this when you see a doctor. I optimistically foresee a future where the two can become integrated, but that means a complete change if lifestyle, eating, surgeries, etc. Bet if luck to you❣️🙏💫

@@shady2slow Well, it was 6 years ago and I am now 76 so my memory is a little rusty. I spent one night in the hospital. I wore a neck brace home and then for at least a couple of weeks after that. The reason they go through the neck is that the surgeon doesn't have to cut through so many muscles. It is less painful and you heal quicker. I couldn't drive for almost a month and I wasn't allowed to drive with the neck brace on. I was given pain medication, Norco 5 mg. 325 mg. I can't remember, but I probably only took it for the first week. I have a high tolerance for pain. I really don't remember making too many life style adjustments. I had physical therapy and learned to walk with my head held high. My son lives with me, so it was very nice to have someone available that first week. I am sorry my memory is rusty, but I must have felt pretty good after surgery because we always remember the tough times and not the easy. Good luck! Would you like me to pray for you?

I have been suffering the Spinal Stenosis for over 16 years now, having undergone two laser surgeries, multiple injections and a final 5 1/2 hour long Laminectomy that literally did nothing except leave a large cavity in my back due to the butchering and removal of bone. My bone density is too negative to have allowed any fusing, and informed that any further surgeries will be worse than any possible improvement. I refuse the opioids, and stick to the synthetic Tramadol at minimal intervals for prior relief, when working. So; I am now semi pain-free with the recent installation of an Abbott Spinal Stimulator. I sure wish that this procedure would have been presented to me before my last slaughter job, and affordable or covered by my insurance. This is great news for others. When your chronic pain results in clammy, fever like puking actions, it is time for repair. The Laminectomy has basically ruined my retirement years, but am extremely grateful for the Abbott Spinal Stimulator. All surgeons should be mandated to study and practice the most beneficial procedures for every patient, not solely practice of antiquated methods. Thank God for surgeons as this one.

I was desperately because the reconstructive doctor cut my Subclavian artery and nerve compressed of clavicle fractured intact on the first rib fractured. He replaced smaller size of the Neuroplastic. Biggest mistake,2nd he cut a piece of muscle on my left cervical without discussing me first. After the surgery the second day I’m very ill than before . Still I cannot walk which I am expecting that I will be alright. Neurosurgeon were not presented who will do the surgery first my cervical stenosis, then the proceed to the brachial plexus compression and the rest of the diagnosis. In general that really changed my life style in the worsen condition. I became invalid and unbearable severe chronic pain than before. I am one of the medical malpractice. 2019 I went in Manila Philippines and PHILIPPINES General Hospital I met the my new Neurosurgeon and she is Chinese. Suppose 2018 my first consult her but I didn’t make it because of my invalidity processing in Milan Italy. I was operated on my Cervical spine stenosis last February 23,2019 and the surgery was successful. Thank God I walk again and again. I have already complained my worsen condition and she understood that I am very ill because of my face. After two weeks of my recovery she will proceed to reopen the surgery done here in Milan unfortunately I need to return in Milan because of very important my present but I rescheduled , Most important is my surgeries. Till now I don’t have any unbearable severe chronic pain on my cervical FINALLY. Thank you so much God she saved my life. The biggest problem I didn’t make it the second surgeries because of the mess created my private nurse. I was so mad, very mad because the nurse that I hired she scam me , my sister and my Mom. Until I lost connection of my Chinese Surgeon. I filed a lawsuit against that nurse. My Heavenly Father, I thought that I will return in Milan 101% in good shape again and again, I will have my job and my quality of life again and again will continue. Till now I’m suffering of respiratory problem because of the Neuroplastic didn’t change, swollen all fractured dislocated and my left arm still paralyzed. My vision and hearing condition continually worsen. Despite of my worsening condition I continue praying. I never and ever give up. I pray next year January 2022 I will have my surgeries to my Chinese Surgeon. She is my hero. Thank you so much guys for reading my long message. Be strong always and pray. In 2012, was the 1st time that my right arm was like being punched all over. Was diagnosed with C-6 herniated disk. It took 4 1//2 months before this pain went away. My specialist told me to wait until the pain returned before anything was going to be done. In 2016, I started falling down. It felt like my legs could not support me. It went on that I could barely keep my head up that I didn't know when I was going to fall. I found this video very interesting. In 2019 I got a C-5, C-6 and C-7 laminectomy. Now almost 3 years later, my right hand has remained numb and my neck very sore. My incision is really sunken in. In 2010, I had an L-3 and L-4 laminectomy. That really helped me a lot. I could barely walked for 9 years and finally the specialist noticed the way that I walked. The morning that I had my operation did me so much good. I was able to walk without pain after so long. In 2000, they found out that I had Thoracic outlet Syndrome. In 2005, I had my left 1st rib removed. I felt so good. In 2006, I had my right rib removed. I could barely use my right hand. There was complication with my operation that the doctor cut into my lung. I couldn't even hold a fork in my hand. This all happened to me since I was 42 yrs old with a very repetitive job and onward. Among with a cyst on my ovary when I was 18, two C-Section at the age of 21 and 22. Tubal ligation when I was 23. Now, I'm 64 yrs old and in constant pain. I refused to take narcotics because I was on 115 mcg. of Fentanyl and went to get off in 2016. Now the only thing that I take for this pain is, marijuana pills through medical marijuana. The rest treated with Diclofenac 5%, Lidocaine 5% and Gabapentin 5%. I'm also on 800 mg. Gabapentin at night. Thank you so much for sharing your channel. It was very clear. From Ontario, Canada

I'm confused by the last x-rays. #1 They're not the same individual. #2 The second image is enlarged if you look at the second cervical vertebrae you can see how much larger it is.
I was hopeful in hearing this technique and I do think it's great. But someone that is educated on xray can clearly see spondylosis that is present on the anterior spine of the pre versus post is not the same. As far as the canal being larger the x-ray is enlarged. You had me following and listening but at the end there was a loss of integrity by the misleading pictures. I am a practicing chiropractor of 30 years and I always look for possibilities for the reversal of spinal stenosis. You were spot-on in your explanation but at the same time if you want professionals and peers to refer to you this does not create a trust.

Years later May 18, 1988,,, I was hit head on by a drunk driver and I hit the windshield. Didn't go through it, but I wore a cervical collar due to torn ligaments and pulled muscles. It also made that one area even worse. It bothers me all the time and I never know when it's going to cause issues with my breathing and for how long.
