I bought my Pepsi from LWC just under a month ago. It's my favourite watch in my (small) collection, super comfortable to wear and easy to read. I'd say it actually keeps better time too compared to my sub and datejust. Only thing I was surprised about was the dark colours, I was expecting them to be a more vivid bright red and blue, but they're actually a much darker almost purple blue and maroon red. Love it!

A friend of mine got a gmt pepsi just recently, after flipping his batman he got from the AD and paid the extra on top. He was after that model for a very long time, and was very happy with his purchase. I had the chance to put it on myself, and sure it's a lovely pice, but i really missed the essence it has lost from what its initial intended purpose was. A more expensive, but durable and reliable tool watch. Which for me was the 16750, that i loved from the first time i saw in Magnum PI back in the 90s. Today's GMT while still functional it feels more like a jewellery and certainly costs like one, doesn't really have its tool watch roots anymore. This isn't meant to say people shouldn't enjoy theirs, but for me the 16750 will always be the one :)
For me, there is NO better tool watch made. I use every single function ALL THE TIME: the seconds hand, minute hand, hour hand, date window, and the 24hr hand (sometimes as a GMT hand, other times as a “Home time” hand). If you travel to/from different time zones, or have family/friends that live in different time zones, or do business regularly in different time zones, then there is NO BETTER GMT made. There may be equals, but no better. The Apple Iwatch has a few limitations as well as advantages, so even it is no better. That’s just me.
Fantastic video Charlie & for me cements why the Pepsi on Jubilee is the best modern day Rolex. As a future video, can you wear the two tone Bluesy for a week & also review this as it’s such a banger of a watch that often gets overlooked.

I have most families of the professional range. The Explorer II and the GMT are beyond any criticism. The hands on the dive watches need to be broader,. Why is the pip on the second hand of the Sub smaller than the GMT? There should be no scissors on the Daytona that obscure the red writing. The watch is hard to read.
Great if you can get one without feeling like you’ve been robbed, let’s be absolutely honest you’re paying thousands and thousands above actual retail.

IF you can get your hands on a BLNR bezel and ring you can have the bezt of both worlds or the otehr way round wit a BLRO bezel ring (hard to find) but pop the whole bezel ring off and swap them over and you can have both. Gratned the GMT hand will not match the but as one it red and the other is blue it kinda works either way. It just find the bezel ring and inserts that is hard!

It’s like you have pointed out you can basically get a ss GMT for around 12k. I have locked in my Daytona panda for £23.5k. I know this is still a lot of money but I don’t mind biting the bullet for such a wonderful piece.

Sometimes I think with the jubilee it would feel top heavy and capsize vs with the oyster where I feel it would have more weight underneath balancing the watch head better. How is the wearing experience vs the blueberry? Which one is more comfortable?
I dare you to daily the "Fast Eddie Felson" for a week. Sure a 36mm, silver dial, stainless steel Datejust on a jubilee is a boring watch. However Paul Newman wearing it in The Colour of Money, automatically makes it cool. I suspect it will probably be very comfortable on the wrist. Hope you've had a great weekend.
I got one on oyster march 2023 and I was bummed it was on oyster. But my AD said last week that was the last one they've gotten in. Glad I didn't say I'd wait for the next jubilee. I go in every few months to see if they let you order the jubilee bracelet. Still, no. Crazy that people are saying it might get d/c'd. I'll sell mine for 50k. I bought it to keep for life but 50k is 50k. Who knows.

Great review. When picking up my Batgirl a few days ago AD Manager and I had a lengthy chat about the Pepsi availability. Interesting potential insight is that the colour issue has been improved BUT the time it takes to manufacture one is significantly longer and therefore less efficient than the Sprite and Batman/Batgirl hence the lack of numbers being made. Makes sense from a business point of view. Why produce a watch with a similar price point RRP when it is let’s say 30% more time/effort to produce.

That’s a good point. I’m sure there are plenty of people who ‘got the call’ on their Pepsi in 2023 thinking to flip and now waiting to see if it’s discontinued because watches and wonders is just around the corner. I got offered £15,500 for my Pepsi on an oyster from a dealer last week which I think is a great price.
I'm lucky enough to have a 2022 Pepsi on an Oyster, I went for the Oyster guessing the AD's list might be shorter. Took me about a year to obtain. Like you I love the watch. I agree the jubilee is more comfortable (I have a fluted Wimbledon gold/steel on Jubilee). The other down side on the Oyster is the highly polished centre links and no matter how much care you take hairline scratches seem to appear. That doesn't seem to be the case with a Jubilee. In terms of wearing the 41mm of the date Sub v. 40mm of the GMT II I don't really notice any difference they both wear super comfortable. The plus point of the Oyster bracelet on the Sub is the mat finish. That does mask the hairline scratches. So, yes, the Jubilee trumps the Oyster but you might just find the Oyster more readily available. I just need to get that Daytona now! Thanks for the video!
I get my bracelets satinised like the Submariner bracelet: easy and rewarding. I get the tops of the crown guards satinised like they were in the1970s.

Great video. Pepsi is way overpriced due to the hype. That Sky Dweller is coming down in price to compete with the Pepsi. I would pick the blue face Sky Dweller any day over a Pepsi since I am seeing them at the same price now. The Sky Dweller is much better value for the money.

Hey man got a question - when you say 'get your spend up' can that include other Rolex's? For example I can buy an Air-King at the AD ... will that help me get the desirable Rolex's in the future?
So we are in the North of England, as with most cities around the world, there are dangerous parts where it would be best advised to not wear your watch! 🙌
I have both bracelets. What I would say is the biggest difference to me is the comfort. The jubilee hugs the wrist perfectly and feels like silk. The oyster is nice too but comfort wise, the jubilee wins.
Actually I prefer my Batgirl for the very simple reason that I like the deep royal blue and jet black color combination on the bezel. It seems to me the black naturally stands for night while the blue represents day. On the Pepsi bezel however…the blue somehow represents night and the red…?………the world on fire in some future dystopian end time?
considering a GMT on Jubilee to be worn by me now, and my daughter at some point...what do you think of this watch as a unisex model? or would you go with the two-tone white dialed Daytona which you have described as having popularity as a unisex model?

Great review. When picking up my Batgirl a few days ago AD Manager and I had a lengthy chat about the Pepsi availability.
Interesting potential insight is that the colour issue has been improved BUT the time it takes to manufacture one is significantly longer and therefore less efficient than the Sprite and Batman/Batgirl hence the lack of numbers being made.
Makes sense from a business point of view. Why produce a watch with a similar price point RRP when it is let’s say 30% more time/effort to produce.

That’s a good point. I’m sure there are plenty of people who ‘got the call’ on their Pepsi in 2023 thinking to flip and now waiting to see if it’s discontinued because watches and wonders is just around the corner. I got offered £15,500 for my Pepsi on an oyster from a dealer last week which I think is a great price.

I'm lucky enough to have a 2022 Pepsi on an Oyster, I went for the Oyster guessing the AD's list might be shorter. Took me about a year to obtain. Like you I love the watch. I agree the jubilee is more comfortable (I have a fluted Wimbledon gold/steel on Jubilee). The other down side on the Oyster is the highly polished centre links and no matter how much care you take hairline scratches seem to appear. That doesn't seem to be the case with a Jubilee. In terms of wearing the 41mm of the date Sub v. 40mm of the GMT II I don't really notice any difference they both wear super comfortable. The plus point of the Oyster bracelet on the Sub is the mat finish. That does mask the hairline scratches. So, yes, the Jubilee trumps the Oyster but you might just find the Oyster more readily available. I just need to get that Daytona now! Thanks for the video!
I get my bracelets satinised like the Submariner bracelet: easy and rewarding. I get the tops of the crown guards satinised like they were in the1970s.

Yes you are right, the jubilee hides the scratches much more easily and is way more comfortable 👌🏻
If your worried about scratches look at getting a protection kit for the watch. I have one on my Daytona and barley notice it is on there

Pepsi jubilee or Starbucks mk2?! Oyster glidelock adjustment is nice on the sub to get perfect fit but imagine the jubilee is very comfy

Great video. Pepsi is way overpriced due to the hype. That Sky Dweller is coming down in price to compete with the Pepsi. I would pick the blue face Sky Dweller any day over a Pepsi since I am seeing them at the same price now. The Sky Dweller is much better value for the money.

How light is the jubilee bracelet in comparison to the Oyster. Is it noticeably light?
It’s little lighter imo. I have the Batgirl and I’ve tried on both, but not by much.
I have both bracelets. What I would say is the biggest difference to me is the comfort. The jubilee hugs the wrist perfectly and feels like silk. The oyster is nice too but comfort wise, the jubilee wins.
Actually I prefer my Batgirl for the very simple reason that I like the deep royal blue and jet black color combination on the bezel. It seems to me the black naturally stands for night while the blue represents day. On the Pepsi bezel however…the blue somehow represents night and the red…?………the world on fire in some future dystopian end time?

considering a GMT on Jubilee to be worn by me now, and my daughter at some point...what do you think of this watch as a unisex model? or would you go with the two-tone white dialed Daytona which you have described as having popularity as a unisex model?
The Daytona is perfect for a unisex model, though the GMT Pepsi works great too, it will all come down to if she likes it!
