- On June 4th, 2019, our group visited Kensington market in Toronto, ON, Canada, to preach the gospel. Many in the community reacted with intense hostility. Toward the end of our time there, we were approached by a minister of the Anglican Church over that community. She wanted to know why everyone was so upset, and then later, we had the opportunity to have a more in-depth discussion to understand her perspective, albeit, a very unbiblical one. I was an atheist once.. I've studied a numbers of books written by a great psychologists and scholars but then when I started reading and meditate the words of God I realize that God really does exist and we are save through His Son Lord Jesus Christ. I was living as a homosexual for nearly 10 years and Christ Himself showed me the error of my ways. Nobody was evangelizing to me, nobody was sitting me down and telling me about the cross, I had no knowledge of the Holy Spirit until last year March when God willed that I come to the knowledge of Him. I was in my room, by myself, again I had nothing to do with God and I wasn't interested either, never listened to gospel at all but a gospel song is what popped up on my CZcams page and I played it because at that time I felt empty, void, broken, and just really not happy so when I saw the title "I just wanna be happy", naturally I clicked lol.
The Holy Spirit used those lyrics to convict me in such a radical way, for the first time in my life, I saw myself as a sinner in need of saving. It felt as though my heart was melting(he removes our hearts of stones and gives us one of flesh) and without thinking I began to cry out to God. This love convicting me of my sin, correcting me on my sin, was the same love wanting me out of it and to Him. I didn't feel judged or rejected, I felt wanted, called, and after days of crying on my bedroom floor, I got up and knew that I could not go back to the life I had been living before because He let me see that it was what was separating me from Him. It was only after this encounter with God that I began to read the Bible and scripture, where I saw homosexuality addressed as being unnatural and it is so because it goes against God's intended design, we cannot take what He's created in the order He's created it, and twist it to suit our own desires, this is attempting to play God.
Is this not exactly what satan did? He, a creation, looked upon himself, thought of himself highly, and decided he wanted to be more than what he was designed be, he wanted to be something he was not designed to be, and wilfully challenged God, his creator's, authority, sovereignty, and order.
This spirit is founded in pride, it entered me through trauma, thrived in rebellion, and caused so much confusion, I was not me, I became my sexuality, I had no identity outside of it. When you're walking around with these demons you begin to think they are you, but when you encounter the true power and love of God, you realize it was not Him, it was not of Him, and it was not you.
This minister, her fruits, and the matters of her heart flowing from her mouth, are that of a demonic doctrine, because the one true Holy Spirit will not go against His Word.

You make a great point. People that are true Christians aren't going to think the Bible is flawed. Christians do vary on different issues in the sense that some Christians are Calvinists while others aren't, some Christians believe you can lose your salvation while others believe you can't lose your salvation, some Christians believe it's ok to drink an occasional beer while other Christians think people should never drink beer, some Christians think it's ok to go out to eat on Sundays while other Christians think people shouldn't go out to eat on Sundays, etc, but the things all Christians have in common are they believe the Bible isn't flawed, they believe the Bible is true, they don't believe it's a book of fairy tales, they aren't slaves to sin (they still sin and still have sin weaknesses, but they aren't slaves to sin), they want to live for the Lord, they want to serve the Lord, they have accepted Christ in their heart and meant it in their heart, etc.

The only part of the old testament I am under obligation to follow is the 10 commandments which is the eternal law of God, and 10 commandments says nothing about mixed fabrics.
I cant see how Jesus's teachings or the 10 commandments are open to interpretation, some people like this woman may do so but she isn't a Christian in my view, also cultural Christian's ie people that were born into a Christian family but dont practice the faith properly might interpret it in their own way, and again I dont see them as being Christian's.
Born again Christian's that are lead by the spirit follow the teachings of Christ LITERALLY, I mean they may make mistakes but they strive to live a life of walking with Christ.
I dont believe there is anyway to interpret scriptural teachings, that's just a cop out in my view, you either believe them literally and follow and exercise them or you dont. How would you interpret this passage...
