And then, maybe, you can ask yourself this one question: if Jesus was a crazy man with an undiagnosed disease, do you really think he would’ve spoken such words? Why die on the cross when he could’ve just said : “Ok guys, you’re right, I am not the Son of God” and kept his life? He could not lie.

If you don't believe in God, you should first seek him in humbleness, but not pride. Then he will for sure reveal himself to you. Otherwise, your just wasting your time and other people's time. All true born again Christians are Christians because they have actually experienced God in their life after seeking him. Hope you'll be born again one day and receive the power of the Holy Spirit to have God's armour to fight the evil one.

The “slavery” that is mentioned in the Bible has to do with people willingly selling them selves to be servants in order to pay off debts or get wealth due to them being poor. The Bible places rules and regulations dealing with slavery in the Bible that don’t allow for the abuse or mistreatment of servants. The Bible states that servants should be treated fair and equal and they should be given what is just and fair.
Just because the Bible gives regulations and rules on slavery doesn’t mean the Bible agrees with it. It actually shows the opposite. Many cultures at that time were raping, kidnapping and abusing people into slavery. The Bible gave rules and regulations for that specific time to prevent things such as that. Doesn’t mean the Bible or God agrees with slavery.

If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as menservants do. If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself, he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her (Exodus 21:7-8, NV)
There is a stark delineation between male servants and the female servants in Exodus 21:7. A Hebrew male could sell himself into servitude for his labor (to cover his debts, and so on) and be released after six years. A Hebrew female could be sold into servitude, with permission of her father, not for labor purposes but for marriage. Verse 8 discusses breaking faith with her, which means that they have entered into a marriage covenant (see Malachi 2:14). If God approved of the female leaving in six years, then marriage is no longer a life-long covenant. So God is honoring the sanctity of marriage here.
Imagine what would happen if this rule wasn’t in place. It would mean that men would have the free reign to marry a woman for six years and then “trade” her in for another woman. This is not approved of in the Bible. Of course, when a man buys a male servant, they are not married, and so the male servants were to be set free.
If the woman chose to not please the master then he had to let her be redeemed, which means that her rights would be respected under law and she would be allowed to go free.
The female Hebrew was not looked at as property but instead a wife.
While foreign slaves could be made slaves for life, the laws regarding the general treatment of slaves applied to them as well (Lev 24:22, Num 15:15-16). The law made it clear that foreigners were not inferiors who could be mistreated (Ex 23:9); instead they were to be loved just as fellow Israelites were (Lev 19:33-34).
Servants/Slaves who decided run away from oppressive masters were not turned back to their masters but instead were freed, therefore none were forced to stay.
The only “beating” of a slave that was allowed was the same type of practice that we call “spanking” (that parents do to their children today).
Regarding Exodus 21:20-21, consider that many of those who sold themselves into servitude were those who had lost everything, indicating that they were often times the “lazy” ones. In order to get them up to par on a working level, they may require discipline. And the Bible does say to give discipline-even fathers were to give their children “the rod;” to withhold it is considered unloving (Proverbs 13:24, 23:13). So beating with a rod (or more appropriately “a branch”) is not harsh, but required for discipline.
You were not allowed to beat those who were servants to the point of their tooth coming out or an eye ball coming out. (That would indicate that the beating was hard and in a purpose to injure the servant).
You of course were not allowed to kill.
God would’ve commanded the ending of slavery if Christians were allowed and had power to change the laws. They weren’t and didn’t.
Christians could not change the legal system. A slave rebellion would have led to the execution of the rebels. There were also legal restrictions concerning the number of slaves who could be freed and freeing them early (before the age of 30) could bar them from becoming Roman citizens (Lex Fufia Caninia and Lex Aelia Sentia).
Commanding Christians to free their slaves would not therefore have been legal, nor would it have worked as, by state law, some of those slaves would still not have been free. But Christians were commanded to love others as Christ loved us. That meant that people could no longer be treated as slaves, but Christians would then become the servants of all, as Christ was (Philippians 2:7).

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. (Ephesians 6:5-9)
Again, Paul in Ephesians is not giving an endorsement to slavery/bondservants and masters, but gives them both the same commands, showing that God views them as equals in Christ. Again, bondservants were to be paid fair wages:
Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. (Colossians 4:1)

The virgins and young girls were spared for a specific purpose: they were not guilty of seducing the men of Israel. In Numbers 25:1-2, we read that the Midianite women were culpable for seducing the Israelite men. This act was more than simply sleeping around. These men were seduced into Pagan worship, as a result (Num. 31:16-18). Remember, ancient Near Eastern worship was not an innocent or innocuous form of religious worship; it was a child-sacrificing abomination!
The virgin women were spared, because they hadn’t participated in the sin of the Midianites (remember Num. 25:1-2). In other words, the culpable ones were killed, and the innocent ones were spared. Moreover, this was a defensive battle in response to the Midianite aggression from earlier.
by Israelite law, the surviving women were not allowed to be raped. For one, the text nowhere says that the women were raped. It merely states that the women should be “spared for yourselves” (Num. 31:18). A critic can read into this text that the women were raped, but this is never stated by the text. Instead, Israelite law prohibited rape in these exact circumstances. Women were to be married-not raped (“take her as a wife for yourself,” Deut. 21:11). These women were given a “full month” to mourn before being married (Deut. 21:13). And finally, these women could “certainly not be sold for money” in the case of a divorce (Deut. 21:14).
The law explicitly condemned all of the following:
Rape (Dt 22:25-27)
Prostitution (23:17-18)
Sex outside of marriage, whether consensual or not (Ex 22:16-17, Dt 22:28-29)
Sex with a slave who was betrothed or married to someone else (Lev 19:20-22)
all of the Midianite males were killed, but so were the Israelite males. When the Israelite males had been seduced into sin (Num. 25), their punishment was death. God was not playing favorites. This definitively shows that this is not a case of prejudicial “ethnic cleansing” or the like. Instead, God brought capital punishment on both Midianites and Israelites for their participation.
I'm in medicine as well and there's a lot of believers in Christ from healthcare administrator's, to Doctors, to Nurses, to Techs and to house keepers. Amen 🙏

ONE story of many...
A workshops leader friend of mine asked that I attend a prayer/deliverance service for a fellow worship leader.
So several of us drove from Dallas to Texarkana and joined others who were local.
We met at picnic grounds in the park.
I felt the Holy Spirit tell me to get up and stand behind the lady we were there to pray for.
I disobeyed.
But I saw a black human like shadow standing behind her with what seemed to have a very large V shaped head.
But I didn't think anything of it at first.
So when we started the lady began reliving all the pain and guilt and shame from her father RAPING her many times!
Her whole demeanor changed and the burden of guilt physically weighed her down and of course the tears were non stop.
The workshop leader told me to go stand behind her !!!!!
THIS time I obeyed.
As I walked behind her I saw the demon again. I felt it's hate for her and all mankind.
But.
I've been walking with Jesus and learning how to fight sin and use the name of Jesus in combat and how to fight DEMONS.
I stood behind her but in front of the demon and he couldn't get around me for some reason.
His power to reach her was taken away.
That taught me how real the invisible is as well as how much God loves us.

@markj6700 Exodus 21 is not condoning slavery. God set rules for the ones who had others work for them (servants) and instructed them not to be abusive to their workers. Also, way back then words like slave could be servant and master could be like boss/employer.

It’s crazy that when someone is preaching the word of god everything becomes chaotic , look at al these crazy things that are happening , a lady singing in the background, a man playing the guitar out of nowhere, a drunk man screaming and a random man trying to grab the microphone.
But because i see al this chaos happening when someone wants to preach the word of god just proves me that the devil doesn’t like the work of christians and that only motivates me that the spiritual fight between the evil of this world and the love of god is true and really happening!!

En un mot, cela a tout du show télévisé (et pas des meilleurs) et rien, absolument rien, d’une conversation.
