The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I was ever an atheist..I use to have and use the same debunked and hypercritical talking points these kids use at one point myself. It wasn't until I started watching and listening to Cliff that I realized I was a lying hypocrite. The moral argument really helped me to realize and humbly realize there has to be a God.

I'm a Jamaican living in the US, and I must say that I've been very impressed by the way Cliffe and his sons have conducted themselves in presenting and sharing the Gospel with people who are diametrically opposed to truth. We all need to the truth without being biased and naive. But what I've discovered is, that morality and personal freedom are what preventing people from believing in God and Jesus Christ. If you tell people what they want to hear, they will listen to you; but if you tell them the truth based on evidence, as long as it conflicts with what they love and want for themselves, it makes them uncomfortable and angry. I believe that truth is objective, and you are doing an excellent job in advocating truth despite the challenges you face in doing so. I've learned a lot from you, please continue the great work. Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. Many horrible things have been done in the name of God but that does not mean that they were ordered or condoned by God. It’s the same within the Bible especially the Old Testament. I found him from a tiktok clip and I’ve been watching these nonstop since. I’ve never heard someone use logic and reason to justify their belief in Jesus and God, and as a person who bases everything off of logic and reason it’s very refreshing to me. Wish I lived in CT so I could attend a service

What logic and reason do you employ to justify belief that naturalism is even possible? Are you aware of any evidentiary facts or sound arguments that go toward demonstrating such a reality? I've asked you many times before, but you certainly have never provided any.
Literally, same! It popped up on my FYP and I was intrigued. I think it’s cool he uses logic and scholarly things to point to Jesus and he answers them directly and on their level as college students. He challenges them in their own beliefs and practices (he’ll tell people to study themselves, be consistent as an atheist, find their own way of measuring manuscripts to see if it’s true). And yet he points to Jesus everytime. I think him and Dan Mohler could be a great balance like left brain/right brain, or love and truth.

My 16 yr old non-believer saw me watching him, and he said mom I been watching him in tiktok. Never stop praying for your kids. Is my fault my older kids are non believers because I didn't teach them of God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit until 2020 I came back to God when I almost died.

Cliffe, I really find your CZcams videos as a great source of knowledge and wisdom in regards to the word of our Lord, our God- I have been trying to show my family more of how a relationship with Christ is the only way to eternal life. I used to stumble and mumble and not have confidence in how I spread THE gospel. I am inspired by the deep well of knowledge that you bring to our fellow brothers and sisters on this planet. After listening to Cliffe explain the reasons why some books are not in the Bible, I immediately felt compelled to express my gratitude for his good teaching. He has a wonderful way of simplifying a complicated subject.
The young man brings up some good points regarding how women are to behave in the church with regard to covering their heads.
Let’s for a moment consider if there are any benefits to women cover their heads in the church service.
Personally I want women to be happy. I do not want them to be put down or subjugated in any way. I treat women with all respect and great courtesy.
But I have observed, on the few occasions when I have had the opportunity to do so, that in a church with women covering their heads, there will be a lovely peace in the congregation that otherwise isn’t usually there.
And if this is true and because women are very caring, they, for the sake of bringing peace into the congregation, will not object having a veil over their heads for the duration of the service.
Also the great apostle says that he won’t suffer a women to preach. I think it’s wonderful if women want to preach. Because it invariably shows they have a great heart for God.
But if a caring women wants to preach and was wise enough to realise the effects her preaching was having upon the men, she wouldn’t want to preach.
Men feel somewhat shown up when a women is preaching. And whilst a women is preaching to benefit the listeners she is unwittingly weakening the men as they have to suffer her preaching.
But it’s a different story if a women is giving her testimony from the pulpit or a vision she’s had. Because this is not preaching. But if she is wise she will cover her head when she does so.
By humbly covering her head she is sending a message to the men that she recognises and acknowledging the strength of the men in the congregation. And this strengthens the men.
Men by preference do not want women teaching them unless it’s one on one. They feel shown up.
However, today, because we are somewhat preoccupied by being extra careful not to treat women unfairly, we have neglected to take into consideration the men.
But As a wise and caring woman wants what’s best for the congregation, she will be perfectly happy to wear a veil in the church service and not preach to the men, if she realises the entire congregation will be blessed because of it. Do not underestimate women. They will understand this.

Today I discover cliffe classics. I really enjoyed listening to a civil arguments back and forth. Instead of shouting at each other and calling each other close minded like nowadays.
The man at the end of the video asks how can he validate Christ's claim about Heaven. He says that, _"If you say there is a dog in the next building, I know how to validate that...I just go there and see for myself."_
However, that answer is disingenuous because it implies that the _only_ things that we can believe in are things that we experience for ourselves with our own senses...but that is a lie!
Ask yourself...why do you believe in atoms? Have you seen an atom? Held an atom?
Of course not!
You _choose_ to trust people... _strangers even!_ ...that atoms exist. The same holds true with a million other things in your life as well. You _choose_ to trust and believe others... _strangers even_ ...and you even bet your life on it!
When you get into a jet as a passenger. You do not know the pilot, yet you _choose_ to trust in him/her.
When you got to a restaurant, you _choose_ to trust a cook whom you've never met.
When you take a pill...you _choose_ to trust the manufacturer.
Regarding history...you _choose_ to believe people who tell you that people such as Augustus Caesar, Plato, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, The Marx Brothers all existed...even though you've never met ANY of those people. On and on it goes...the number of things that you take on trusting others is staggering!
Therefore, when you get to the Biblical records affirming the lives of people such Abraham, Moses, Jesus, The Apostle Paul etc...why is this same standard discarded?
It is a matter of disingenuous, double standards.

This is not a liberal or conservative conversation, it is a true rabbi, teacher, and studied believer providing a true college experience to curious students. This is the College experience and debate that I hope my kids will all engage.

To correct you, Muhammad received no revelation about Islam. He was led by an angel. Revelation is when information is spoken to you by God himself. Also, every messenger of God had God himself living inside of their bodies. The prophets had the Holy Spirit. No other religion offers you a relationship with God. But Christianity says you can’t become a Christian until you encounter God (John 6:44-45), it’s determined by you knowing God (John 17:3, Galatians 4:6-9, Ephesians 1:13-14, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Genesis 1:1-3, 1 John 2:14). The same spirit that lived in the prophets Jesus and apostles lives in my body right now and has confirmed he is the God of the Bible as he did to the writers of the Bible. No religious figure had even close to this. They were led by angels, and had dreams. Demons can give you dreams too, cause they’re supernatural beings with powers. Again, no corroboration or confirmation from God means it isn’t from God but from the devil who is the deceiver of this world. Muhammad was lied to and used by satan.

I do enjoy corresponding on this channel most of the time but I think Jacob, one of the Christian theists on here made an excellent point a few weeks ago when he made a video on his channel regarding how some on both sides of the divide correspond very harshly and offensively with each other. I am in FULL agreement with him on that point.
It seems like it has been forgotten, so I would like to make the exact SAME point and, just as he very fairly did, I too will say it to both my fellow atheists on here and to theists, and it's this, it's not necessary to be rude, offensive or condescending towards the people you are disagreeing with and I would further add that it's also not necessary to keep trying to represent the position of the person you are disagreeing with in such an obviously ridiculous way that you know yourself is not their true position.
All that does is undermine your OWN position. You're never going to persuade anyone to rethink their own position when they can see that your position isn't making you a better, more decent, sensible and mature person and this may, in fact, be doing the opposite. And before anyone replies to this with all of this "hey, you're an atheist, you don't believe in God, you think we're all just a bunch of neurons and electrons so what does it matter how we treat each other?", once again, can I politely ask you to cut all of that type of satirical representation of the atheist position out?
That is not how any sensible, thinking atheists view themselves or their fellow human beings. We give far more value to our fellow human beings than that. Irrespective of how we came to be, whether it was through some other higher being or something else, the fact is we are here and we are what we are, we're living, conscious, thinking creatures and that in and of itself makes us of value. We're not inanimate, lifeless objects behind keyboards. We feel, we can be hurt, we can suffer etc.
The same goes for my fellow atheists, here, again, it's not necessary to make up some mock version of the Christian theist position or insult and attack Christians on here with false representations of their positon, and try to make them seem as if they are fools for believing in what they believe. Most Christians are not fools, they have the same intelligence level as we do. I have said this many times before on here, there is nothing irrational or stupid about believing in the Christian God or any kind of supremely powerful and intelligent being. Just because I am not convinced that there is a God of any type, it doesn't mean that I think it's irrational, I totally understand why many conclude that there has to be a God, I might be inclined to think that are wrong but being wrong doesn't make someone irrational.
Finally, I am aware that there might be one or two here who will be tempted to reply to this with clever remarks like "he's just done six paragraphs and said nothing" or "if you don't believe in God then how do you know anything is real and why do you care about anything??", again, this is precisely what I mean. This is the most heated I've seen Cliffe (at least towards the beginning), but as a Christian that likes to include logic, science, history, etc when explaining why I believe in God/Jesus, I generally appreciate the way he explains things and talks to people
This may seem like an odd take, but to be honest I don’t regret my atheist years. I was raised Catholic, I didn’t turn from it for any particular reason, maybe other than a rough later life I decided to find Christ in my own as an adult. Now I KNOW my faith is solid. I lived a life totally separate from God and now I live to serve Him. He saved us all and yes I still struggle with Sin but I try everyday to be a better Christian
It isn’t about being a better Christian, it’s about having a better relationship with Jesus daily, which causes him to change you more. Which shows more how much of a Christian you are. Meaning, to be considered a Christian you have to first repent and accept him as your personal Lord and Savior after being convicted of your sin and then hearing the Gospel message. You must be reconciled to him. He seals himself into you as he recreates you inside. As 2 Corinthians 13:5 says, you’re in the faith when he’s inside of you. You’re a Christian when he’s inside of you. That’s the determination. Not you trying to not sin. You’re not religious. Yes you sometimes have to make decisions to say no to sin but that’s not what Jesus is about. Meaning it’s a supernatural change caused by your personal relationship with Him, which starts the moment he enters your body through the gospel. He gives you a new heart (spirit) and then joins together with it. That causes a new you to be born inside, which is how one changes. Then you walk this life in a relationship with him, allowing him to change your thoughts and desires. When you don’t resist this change and you get closer to him, he makes you more like himself. And that leads you to sinning less and less, naturally. It’s suppose to be natural, not a fight. Lots of christians think they’re fighting themselves when they try to live holy and that’s because they’re clueless about the scriptures. They have no spiritual discernment because they don’t ask the Holy Spirit of Jesus what things mean in scripture. Being holy is suppose to be more natural than not. Just how a man has to fight to be a woman because he’s not a woman but doesn’t have to fight to be a man because he came out the womb a male, a person born again doesn’t have to fight to be holy by nature because they’ve been given a new nature. You’re literally remade inside. Focus less on trying to be good, since your goodness doesn’t contribute to your right standing with him because he paid your entire debt himself. Rest in his finished work on your behalf, and rest and trust in the transformation he performed inside of you, and just focus on getting to know him. You’ll see more change within you then. Romans 2:29, Colossians 2:11-23, Ephesians 4:22-24, Colossians 3:1-10, Ephesians 5:17, romans 6:1-7, Ephesians 3:17, 1 Corinthians 6:17, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18, Philippians 2:13, Galatians 5:24, romans 7:1-6, romans 8:5-9.
Yes he wants holiness. But I’m trying to say that your job isn’t to try to be holy, your job is to set your eyes on Him and just get to know him. He’s in your body if you’re saved, he wants to intimately know you. The change is his job. If it were about trying to not sin, you wouldn’t have or need a Savior, because you’d be trying to save yourself by not sinning. And that’s what religious people do and yet they’re still headed to hell. Focus on Jesus and let him change you. People will see the holiness more then. And it’ll be seen as supernatural and they’ll wonder and that’ll draw them to Christ. If you however try to just not sin, they’ll see you as religious and nothing more. Because all religious people have the “don’t sin” mindset, yet still do a whole lot naturally. Born again Christians though naturally sin less and less as time goes by, because they’ve been recreated inside. And that’s one thing that makes us different.
What is Cliffe talking about? Moses is in heaven right now. I know this video was taped a long time ago, but I hope he doesn't hold that same belief. Because the Bible clearly says that Moses is heaven.

Well, his point was not that Moses is not still in heaven, it was rather that Moses will be in heaven because Jesus died on the cross.
You know, many believe that when we die we do not go straight to heaven but to paradise and then after the final resurrection in the future we will go to heaven.

But genuine true followers of christ are few. And yes Christ is a reality. He does for us and all we need to do is repent turn to him and accept him. It's very free and the promise is eternal life

I don’t understand Cliff sometimes. There’s so much he could’ve said regarding Cains wife and he completely dropped the ball on the subject of dinosaurs which are mentioned in the Bible several times. The one I can remember off the top of my head is in JOB. They were not called dinosaurs at the time because that term had not been created yet. I believe the most common term used was behemoth or leviathan. Also somewhere I think there’s a reference to a dragon which would explain where the culture of all the Chinese dragon hieroglyphs came from.
EDIT: When reading about the dinosaurs in the book of JOB I predict you will have questions. Hit me up if you do.

The most honest and real reason why most people refuse to follow Christ is that they simply do not want to change their lives in obedience to Him. Dr Paul Little had a uni campus ministry like Pastor Cliffe. A heckler pursued him from venue to venue. Eventually, Dr Little asked him why he was following him. He said he wanted to prove him wrong. Dr Little basically said he should debate him at the front of the room, not gaslight him from the back. He asked him why he won't trust in Yeshua. The guy said he loved his sins too much and had no intention of giving them up for anyone
To Cliffe's sons, that's what I meant in previous videos. As this interaction shows, I was correct. I come here once in a while, I enjoy your talks, you make teenagers think deeply on important issues. And yet, this was embarrassing: Cliffe has a clear advantage on young adults, let's say, he is a professional apologist out of seminary, is he not? Of course, here he was younger, he's grown a lot since then. That said, The first guy asked great questions. That's where Cliffe fails at times because in general that's how this is taught in Bible schools. Here, Cliffe has to resort to a few strawmen, accusing the guy to be bigoted in his thinking. I understand Cliffe's frustration, I get annoyed too sometimes but the truth is, unless you show the Bible's reliability, all other beliefs or religions in the world are equally valid. If you believe that the Bible is not perfect but trustable as a whole, you have lost already. If our God exists, he must give the world His Book by inspiration. An Inspired Book can't be quasi-reliable, it must be 100% correct, which it is, but you guys don't seem to make that the top priority or so it appears. In fact, to prove my point, the Bible talks about dinosaurs meanwhile Adam and Eve lived nearly 1000 years, they had multiple children who went on to marry each other.

I personally take the Bible literally unless the symbology is clearly shown in context. I have strong evidence for its validity. Now, it takes some cross referencing. But first, could it be possible that some dinosaurs survived even if evolution were true? I don't see why not especially sea creatures, right? However, God created the animals and man around 8 thousands years ago. That being the case, Dinosaurs lived with humans. They ate grass, or herbs mainly before the Fall. The name Dinosaurs is recent. Before they were called by other names. The Bible identify Behemoth, Leviathan, and Dragons. You see, reptiles never stop growing. If the biblical account is correct, which it is, for various reasons animals and people used to live longer than today. Therefore "dinosaurs" could grow to quite a big size. Besides, I strongly believe that even people were taller than us, at the beginning. In fact, we are devolving, not evolving. They were also smarter back then: imagine living 1000 years how much you'll learn, wisdom would be off the chart. Sin also corrupted the world. So yes, secular evolutionists must resort to identify those creatures mentioned above as elephants or rhinos or other animals but it does not match the description given; so when the description doesn't match they turn the first part of the verse literally, the second part allegorically, like a symbol of the creatures' strength. Not so, it's all literal. Behemoth was probably a Sauropod, a Mammoth or (in my opinion) that Dino with bony plates on its back. The Leviathan seems like more of a sea creature or a huge crocodile. Remember, according to the Bible there were also giants with incredible strength in the world. As the book says, no man could face those animals, not even with weapons and those weapons were huge; in fact, the creature's tail was like cedar trees. Lebanon cedar trees can reach a 8 feet diameter today. Those "dinosaurs" are described in Job 40 and 41, Deuteronomy and other books of the Bible, probably extinct now. Dragons were real. How cool is that?
