This is for the 2015 style tow mirrors with running light, signal, and reverse lights. The video covers the door panel removal, the mirror mounting, as well as the wiring for all of the lighting features.

So I have a 2011 silverado 1500 wt and i bought some tow mirrors with signal indicator and backup light, and powerd adjustment. The doors have the manual window and stock mirros with no power function. Is there any way to hook up the tow mirrors for the signal Indicator and backup lights to work? Thanks
You can wire up the reverse light following this video. We don't currently offer an upgrade path to gain signal if you have totally manual mirrors.

I'm looking at a set of these but have read they don't work with the temp sensor. I'm not sure what they are referring to as the outside temp probe is in the grille support? Can you explain?
That is only relevant for 2015+ vehicles, this video is for 2007-2014 so you certainly won't have an issue.

What would cause the clearance lights to not stay lit? I installed my mirrors and the clearance lights come on when I unlock the doors and lock them but the second that I put the key in the ignition they turn off and don’t come back on

Did you ever figure anything out? Only my turn signal, and emergency lights work. They won’t stay lit while my truck is running/driving

I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado New body style and when I bought it. I noticed on the door it has a hole because it had Manuel
Windows, but they add everything to make it power windows. Will I still be able to add these side mirrors and have them fully function if so where would I be able to hook it up too?

Turn signal should be plug and play with our mirrors, assuming you had power adjust mirrors from factory.

I have an Lt truck but it has power fold mirrors, will this affect install?
For an LT with power fold the mirrors will plug into the window switch directly.

As long as your VIN indicates a build destined for the central midwest it is a factory option. Designated by RPO code BUG, which can be validated in your passenger side glove box.

Also what is the difference between the custom built mirrors and pre built? Finally, is the lower mirror convex so that a blind spot mirror is not required?
@@jgruen9854 We don't have an option without lighting for the 2007-2014 trucks. We offer free ground shipping to Denver. Custom built mirrors offer 50+ options, whereas pre-built mirrors are our most popular options but they are discounted. The lower glass is convex.

SLE is higher trim than those others. WT, SL, SLT are typically the black trim. SLE has chrome
Mine came with a blue wire, a white wire and a gray wire, can you tell me how to plug them?
Sounds like the mirrors are likely not from us as we don't provide a blue wire in the secondary connector. We'd recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of your mirrors for assistance.
What do we do if we only have white and Grey wires? How do we go about wiring that!?
You will just ignore the orange wire section of the video.
So run both sets of white and grey wire out to the fuse box under the hood then
Never mind grey=ground..
friend, the mirrors already include the orange cable or you have to buy it separately
Our mirrors come with that as long as you choose an option with running light.

What type of shop can do this work??
Most body shops or audio installation shops can do it.
so if i use a blinker do both mirrors flash or just the correct side? i dont understand how they would flash correctly if both spliced
Only one side would flash. The wire you are running is not the blinker, it's the running light wire. Turn signal is plug & play.
