    I have weak feet and ankles and my balance has been getting worse as I get older. Thank you for sharing this exercise! Strangely enough, a physical therapist who makes custom orthotics told me to never go without shoes - even in the house! I guess that practice worked against me. I will start the towel roll exercises today!

    Brilliant.
    I would imagine that these would be especially useful if you have a tendency to over pronate.
    It seems that not just musculature, but that our neurological responses also deteriorate with age - as evidence by a decrease in ability to balance with eyes closed, or in the dark. Is this something that can be addressed by physiotherapy?
