I have a GLC250D 4MATIC. 67 plate. Push button start, is it the same process. The trouble with the push button is that there appears to be aux and start. No other option. Appreciate any input. Thank you.

Hi, may I just ask, when you start the car with the push button do you need to press the brake pedal ?

@@chrisbentleywalkingandrambling in that case you can access position 2 of the key by pressing the button twice but not pressing the brake so the car won’t start.
